So after over 3 years of vaping I'm finally going to pull the trigger on a Provari. Blame it on a test drive of a mini, but I finally figured out just what I'd been missing out on. :p

Now however, I can't make up my mind what I want; silver, black, blue, purple, teardrops or crop circles... Agh!!!

I do know I like 18650s since I tend to vape like a freight train and those last me for most of the day. I also know I want to use the stock end cap and the tatroe ring, either in a pair or single... past that I'm completely confused!!! The blue looks really nice with the tatroe, purple or black are typically my go to colors... satin silver shows less wear so I've heard... Now what???

I like the sliver satins the best. The finish is neutral, so there is less of a chance I'll get bored with it and I don't have to worry about the color clashing with tanks. Despite the durability of cerakote, the colors due show wear. I keep mine in a sleeve, so it's not a huge deal, but I don't want to pay extra for it. If I want color, I'll wrap it.

You've made some very good points Oci, and I have been leaning toward the silver for some of those same reasons. Silver satin it is then! Now to decide on size... I originally liked the mini pattern better, but the standard is growing on me, and that would only mean one tatroe ring.

The crop circle one isn't really created by aliens, just so you know.

Well that's good. I'd hate for there to be some kind of strange tracking device in my Provari. I don't look particularly good in tin foil. ;)

+1 for silver. It is a neutral color that goes with most anything. Lots of people have had trouble finding toppers that match the blue, purple or red. Shiny ones are nice but you want you first to be one that you can use without fear of ruining the finish.

As for mini or regular size. Just from reading the forums it seems most women prefer the teardrop design of the mini while men like the crop circles. Mini is more versatile since you can use any battery in it.

LED's: Red is bright and harsh for some. Blue is most popular. Green is most popular for zombie versions or bronze finish.

Ummm...you just look like a black with blue led to me....

And typically I am. I currently have a Lambo and chose the black ostrich JWrap for it since it's original coating was failing. I also sport a dark bluish purple ming drip tip on my protank 2. Either way, it will definitely be a blue LED. :)

From everything I've read, it doesn't matter what color you get at first...because (according to actual ProVari owners) you're just going to end up getting a second one within as little as a week or something like that. I kept going back and forth on color/LED combos, I actually think that Ocelot made the decision for me - it wasn't a satin silver, though.

*shrug*

I'm just waitin on the darn whatever sale to be official so I can pull the *bleep* trigger already...

I love my black, but usually always grab the silver satin one.

Keep in mind you can make to mini bigger, but you can't make the full size smaller.

True, and the smaller size would at least be good for grocery store runs.

Yep, waiting for that as well. I just want to make sure I have it in my cart before they post the sale, and with all this waffling that ain't happening unless I do some serious decision making now. And no, I can't really see spending the money on a second one. My Lambo will play backup if one is ever needed.

My S-Zmax will be my backup. You should join me and one other waiting to pull the trigger on the bronze mini w/green LED (which has been waiting in my cart for over a week).

Satin silver all the way!

I bought a Tatroe tank
Tatroe

It is my go-to topper of choice. I'm usually swapping protanks, RSST, and AGA-T, but what looks the best, by far, is the Tatroe tank. All of them perform great on the provari.

Even better (imho) than the Tatroe tank, is the Tatroe bottom cap. It replaces the protank bottom cap, and is machined to Pro-vape standards out of high quality stainless steel. The threading is butter-smooth and such a sweet complement to the PV build quality.
