Dunno where else to post this so figured maybe this is good spot. Well for some reason I can't PM anyone, I'm told it's suppose to show up under the name but I can only click the name and in their profile trees no pm option either

If the person has their PM's turned off you may not be able to use it for them. ???
Left click on the user name, like Susan said, and the PM option is right there.
Or go to your Notifications (topmost button next to your user name), Inbox, and Send New Message. Then type in the recipient's User Name.

Bear in mind, if you're attempting to PM a new member before their account updates after their 5th post, you can't PM them as they're unable to receive PMs from anyone other than the system or Administrators. It's also possible an individual may have PMs turned off.
If you're still unable to send PMs, and don't see the option at all on anyone's profile, log out, clear your cookies and cache, then log into ECF again.
