Can't Post in Negative Review Post

Just to let all members know we suppliers cannot reply to the thread about Negative Supplier Thread. I am for free speech and do not agree with only showing good reviews. I think all should be allowed. Posters should check with a supplier to try and work out the problem before they post a negative thread. We suppliers are not allowed to post in review section now, so we can not defend ourselves if a negative review was posted. Don't know what the answer is here, but I hope I will be able to post on other threads without going thru a moderator like I have to now.

You can be sure your satisfied customers will stand up for you on the review section if anyone posts anything misleading, unfair or inaccurate. Just give us the heads up here if we miss anything.

what i have noticed (changes) so far is i cant post in the newbie or review forums.. also i have no edit ability in any other forum except this one... even a time restricted one..

The internet is the place were no matter what is said, it should not be believed. When the same thing is said over and over, then thats a different story.
If you get a nasty review and 50 good ones, you are ok by me.
If it is the other way around, well then you are pretty messed up and probably dont deserve the sales.

FYI: The reason why a supplier can't post on this thread is because its stationed in the ECig Review Section. Suppliers can no longer post in either the Noobie forum or ECig Review Forum ... Suppliers weren't restricted to only not posting in this thread alone.

would u explain the loss of edit ability to me everywhere except here cash..

a short time limit is okay not at all isnt very clever.. one liners might fit in these little boxes anything more dosnt..

Interesting issue trog ... So you can personally edit a post in the Suppliers Forum after any amount of time, but can't edit period (not even within 5-10 minutes) in any other part of the forum? Will have to have SJ look in to it!

i dont know about any amount of time in the suppliers forum i didnt exactly say that.. but the edit option is there.. i havnt put it to the any time test

anywhere else the edit option isnt there period.... no edit button..

I will post whatever i please about a supplier if i feel i got badly treated, thats not up to an admin to decide, what if i think i got wrongly treated but the admin disagrees? i can't voice my opinion?

This forum is turning very slowly and the underbelly doesn't look pretty. Alot of contacts from this forum have been mentioning to be how this forum is hitting its downfall.

This can only be put down to bad Administration and favoritism.

Woooooops, seems I've made a big mistake here and pretty much everybody thinks I'm wrong. So I'm wrong!

Let me just quickly explain my thinking behind what I did: It has concerned me (and quite a few members) for some time that there was too much activity by the suppliers in the review board. So I removed supplier posting privileges here.

However, it did occur to me that it would be unfair for suppliers to have accusations thrown at them without the right of reply (plus my fear of libel law) - hence the rule.

Perhaps it was too much of a leap, and I pre-empted this sort of problem too far ahead of it actually occuring, so we'll carry on with the old rules, minus suppliers in the forum.

Sorry for any upset this caused, and just to clarify there was absolutely no pressure on me by any suppliers to do this. In fact, many of them have been in touch to say they'd prefer to have negative reviews posted since it helps them make their service better. I just made a big misjudgement.
