I received my eGo yesterday and purchased a few juices (freedom smoke - cinnamon bun, peppermint, fireball - the only one I can actually taste and love, and Wyatt Earp) I have been dripping. Is it just the juices I choose or am I doing something wrong? The peppermint I can barely taste but gives a huge TH which I dislike!

It might be the juice or in my case anytime I have vaped cinnamon or any kind of mint my taste buds get fried for a long time. I can never get the smell and taste out of my atomizers and always resort to having to use another atomizer for other flavors. The other day I made the mistake of sucking on a atomic cinnamon hard candy and couldn't taste anything for the rest of the night. Next day all my juices had flavor again. I don't know if Freedom Smoke juices has to steep for a week or so. There are some that need to sit for a bit so the flavors can come through.
I have the same issue, just about. It's not so much that I can't taste the juice, but rather they're never quite as spectacular as the reviews tout them to be.
(Halo product is the exception so far.)

Yeah i can taste the flavors but they are very very faint!!! I'm a little disappointed about that because so many ppl rave about the flavor of juice! Perhaps ur right about needing to steep a little. Hopefully thats the case!!! Guess I'll just have to wait and see!!! I love the fireball and totally regret only getting the sample size but I can see getting tired of it after a while!!! I am learning that I'm most likely going to like sweeter juices! Anybody recommend sweet juices? This is my second day vaping and I really love it! No analogs since it came in the mail even vaped (stealth vaping cause I was nervous about "getting caught" haha) guess smoking habits die hard. (I just recently moved to California and they don't take to smoking too kindly in these parts which I think is what made me so nervous about vaping in public!!!! Lol
Are you using standard 510 attys?? Try something low-resistance (306 or 510... both will wick) and de-wick it.
My advice to anyone with a "fat battery" 510 mod like an ego/tornado/riva/inferno/etc that wants to get into dripping... try the 306 (de-wicked)... makes flavors really pop!

You'll have to search... it's been covered numerous times here on ECF as well as youtube. It is a bit more difficult with 510s. Try 306s, they'll fit your 510 threads. There are 2 different wicks. One runs inside the coil itself (You have to try really hard to get to this one, but thats ok... leave this one alone!). The wick you want to remove is underneath the meshy metal bridge. The short answer is to grab it with tweezers or a needle and just pull it out. 306s have an exposed bridge, 510s bridge are down inside the tube a little bit.
Avidvaper.com sells a dripping kit... 2 Cisco LR 306s and a drip tip for 20 bucks.
I had the same problem - not being able to taste the juice - until I got a variable volt setup. The eGo gives you an effective 3.2 volts, and I've found that I need 4.0-4.5 volts to get the flavor other people talk about. I ordered some Chocolate Raspberry and tried it on my old eGo and it tasted like dusty air. I tried it again once I could crank up the power and it's the best. Tart raspberry flavor, and smooth dark chocolate. It just needed more power to bring out the flavor and vapor. And huge clouds of vapor. I can put regular cigarette smokers to shame with the vapor I can put out. Heh.
Another noob here too, started just 2 days ago with my Riva 1100 , tried to play it safe so the only 2 juices i have are vanilla and coffee both from EV cigarettes ..and well I taste something but cant quite say "yeah that's coffee alright evan the vanilla is ..well pretty much tasteless too ...some nice soul here told me to get some 510 softtip cartos, so I ordered them today from Carolina vapor im goin to try their cherry cherry and see how that is..sad to say Im still analogging a few here and there..still timid about making the jump...but working on it
Unfortunately this has been my experience, too... with a "fat battery" 510 kit, you're only getting 3.2v. LR attys/carts can bring you close to the sweet sport (8-10 watts), but not quite... The best vaping comes from true 3.7v with low resistance, 6v with higher resistance, or a variable voltage device with damn-near-anything : P

Once you find the perfect juice for you, it'll happen. Don't put pressure on yourself. Some people need to ease into it.
Dusty air!!!!! That's pretty much what most of my juices taste like!!! Great description scottin socal!!!!! Idk if I'm ready for upgraded mods just yet! It's only my second day after all!!! Theres so much to learn!! Lol. I started vaping mostly to quit smoking! I was only a half a pack to pack a day smoker but was having a hard time kicking the habit!!! I don't crave analogs anymore which is great!!! I would like however the added bonus of great flavors!!!! I never really liked the taste of analogs!!! Maybe things will get better once my taste buds adjust!!!
Thats a good point... smoking really messes up your taste-buds, hence, why smokers need more salt on their food and cant smell very well. Give it some time, try different flavors... vaping, like any new thing, takes time to gain experience and figure out what works for you!
The one downside to having an enhanced ability to smell is that I work as a nurse and let's just say, humans emit some rather strong odors!!!! Lol not really looking forward to it!!!!

Have some I like , and have ordered twice --but no "OMG" juices yet.
There has to be one (or two) out there that will Knock my old socks off
AND I WILL FIND IT !!!!!!
And --YOU WILL TOO !!!
Just hang in there!!
