Somewhat of a dead post, as there's really no answer to my problem here, but for the life of me, I just cannot stop dropping my ECs. It's sending me crazy.

I drop them on the road.
I drop them on the living room floor.
I knock them off the table.
If I lay them down, they roll on the floor.

I have tried using a neck pouch for me Egos, but I don't use Egos so much now. I now use Spinners, (an MVP2 is in the post as we speak).

I know the answer to my problem... Just don't drop them!!! However...

...when you have something like a pen, standing up on its end, it bound to fall over with just the slightest knock. If I lay the EC down, then I'm risking the oil going into the tip of my Clearomizer, if using my PTII, I'm resting the glass on a hard surface. As for when I'm out and about...

Anyone else had this problem and found a way to stop being such an idiot?!

Haven't had this issue. Tip: When you get the MVP, it's ok to lay it down on its back. I rarely stand mine up. :)

I started with eGo's and I learned to hate round tooby Pv's in short order. As you figured out, you can't stand them up because they will fall over. Laying them down on their side only encourages them to roll away. The last straw was the eGo on the kitchen counter that fell over and rolled right off the counter, hit the floor - still rolling and picking up speed - and was under the stove and all the way to the back wall in a split second. If I had not been in the kitchen when it happened I would have never figured out what happened to it.

I bought a box mod after that one. It falls over and... just sits there. Enjoy your MVP! If you want to upgrade in the future consider a very not round Reo Grand - all right angles.

I have a little old container to keep my tanks in, except my Astro clone. Things tend to slip out of my hands too, due to medical reasons. When I go places, I just carry my 1100mAh no name slimline device, don't know what brand name it is. Have dropped it a few times.

Also have knocked over my Astro clone with DBox PuriTank, but so far, it hasn't broken. The worst incident was when I first removed the tank, not realizing that there was two sets of threads, unscrewed the part that holds the coil, rather than the tank & it was like "Wham!". No chance to turn back, e-juice was all over me.

Fortunately, the juice was no economic loss, as it was a sample bottle, but it was still 4ml of product. But ruined a new pair of jeans.

I forever knock over my tube mods. I have uneven coffe/end tables. I even just switched to the reo. Hate to admit it, but have managed to knock that over a time or two! Found a holder for tube mods, worked great! But now what to do with a box mod? Lots of options for the tube, but what to do for a box? I'll be interested to see.

I always keep mine standing up. Even in my coat pocket it kinda stands up on a 45 degree angle. Drop mine many times also. Had a Dewalt drill drop from a 6 foot step ladder one time and broke so I never bought another one. Stay with Makita, Dropped one Makita from six sets of scaffold into a concrete swimming pool. Popped the battery back in and it never skipped a beat. Vape gear is no different. Find one that takes a beating, usually the whole lineup from that company will take a beating. Good luck to you. CHEERS!

I also have 4 of these that can be used for tube mods and box mods. I have used them for my REO's and my MVP. I take one with me to wherever I'm sitting in the house because I'm always vaping more than one at a time. I don't like laying anything down, it encourages liquid to go where it shouldn't sometimes.

I got them at Target for a couple buck each. They are pencil holders.

Sorry for the sideways pic.

bummer, sounds like a personal problem. I have holsters and G Cases for my mods when on the go. Base stands and PV holders work great for around home and at work. Maybe a tat on your hand tat says "Do Not Drop the Vaporizer Dumby" may help.

Fortunately all my gear can be stored horizontal of vertical without fear of leaks or flooding.
