I have the worst case of vapors tongue in the history of vaping! 2 damn weeks! My tongue is numb, lips are dry. ...? I have tried it all... Brushing, flossing, mouth wash, Bactirin dry mouth rinse, smelling coffee grounds, eating spicy foods, all my juices, cleaning my tanks, new coils, and drank enough water to irrigate the Sahara. I changed nothing in my diet, exercise, vaping, and/or lifestyle. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. HELP!!!

I'm having the same issue at the moment and I started vaping 9 months ago. For over a week I haven't been able to taste any juice in any of my builds. At first I thought maybe I had totally forgotten how to wick every one of my RBAs properly, but I don't think that's the case.

I'm not experiencing the numb tongue or dry lips like you mentioned, but I can not seem to taste any juice no matter how many times i rip the coil off and make new coils and wicks and try new juices.

Is 2 weeks a long time for vaper's tongue? I've never had it last any shorter than that. I haven't had it in quite awhile, but my remedy was Menthol ejuice for about 3 days straight. The was the last time I ever had vaper's tongue, but I managed to develop and rid myself of vaper's tongue doing this in under a week.

I vape menthol tobacco's allot mostly diy. I have two main recipes only thing that changes would be the amount of menthol compared to vapers tongue, the worse it gets the more menthol Ill add. Its kinda hard when you purchase your fluid but one things for sure, menthol is always noticeable and never goes away at least not for me.

in the six months plus we've been vaping I've never had vapor's tongue..I have had a sinus infection with this flu and couldn't taste anything for the better part of two weeks.

get checked out.

are you able to smell things?? smelling a foul smell now and then? (that's usually a sinus infection)

but taste bud fatigue shouldn't cause lasting numbness, too much nicotine can cause numbness.

hope you get it figured out..I remember the morning I could taste my juice again..oh yeah!! good stuff!

I had vapers tongue for about 2 and half weeks. I feel your pain, it was complete torture. When I wasn't able to taste food, I went to my ENT doctor who never heard of this condition. He took a scope all the way up my nose and couldn't see the problem. It was actually kind of funny how intrigued he was, he was googling vapers tongue while I sat there. Anyway, the remedy im afraid is just time. I stopped vaping and started smoking again. A week later it was gone. Im so afraid of getting it again now that im back in my vaping groove. But just remember, its not permanent as much as it freaking sucks. Hang in there

People are misunderstanding Vapors tongue.
Sensory Overload should not last more than a few days..............unless you are continually overloading the senses. Time to recover is as important as any other home remedy.

Also - Colds/Flu/Sinus infections can cause loss of Taste. This is not Vapors tongue.

Reduce Vaping
Vape opposing flavors - Fruits instead of Tobaccos/etc.
Vape Unflavored
Reduce Nic intake
Drink Lemonade

Good Luck!
