o.k im 5 weeks in (and just loving it!!!!) and down to 4x5ml refills left and at $8 each for 5mls in australia im going abroad to get my next hit of vaping

so i went to the website i bought everything from( E Cigarette Refills ? E Cig Refills | GeRo Imports ) to check on the type of e-liquid i'm vaping on and there is no reference to what it is... VG/ PG/ and what mix ratio is.... and as they are not the speediest to reply to any form of mail i am not even going to bother!

so before i run out where is my best starting point to figure out

A.. what im vaping( is there a simple test to figure out if its vg or pg)
B.. what i might like vaping (pg--vg)
C.. i've heard of, trial sample sizes to see what i might like, i'm down for some flavours too!!! i'm currently on 6mg tobacco flavours...

but those crazy flavours have got me curious!!!!!

there are plenty of threads here to get my ejuice info for purchases from, i'm covered there!

im quite happy with what im vaping(unsure of what exactly it is)
but im unhappy with australian prices

unleash your knowledge members!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Ledazzler, Mosman, Sydney member. What a great suburb. Grew up near there.......
Anyway, don’t ever buy juice without knowing its contents. I'm not familiar with this company at all but there are so many.
There are great companies in the states you can get mail orders from and that's what I'd be doing.

As far as finding out what IS in your liquid, well, I'm not sure how.
In regard to WHAT you may like..... That's partially trial and error.

I say partially because it can depend on what delivery system you are using as well as your personal taste.
For example. VG based liquid is sweeter. Produces the vapor one needs but is very thick and if you use a Clearomizer like many do these days it won't work well on juices that contain more than 50% VG. It's fine for direct dripping into your Atty or for use in Cartomizers but clearo's and even Mini Nova tanks do not do well with high VG content.

Most people use a mixture of PG/VG. 50/50 is a good balance. Personally I'm just now moving to 60/40 PG as I like to use certain Vivi nova tanks AND Clearomizers.

I would suggest purchasing some sample packs with about a 50/50 ratio and see how you go. I have recently bought about 10 different sample packs from US vendors and it's a great and affordable way to find that all day vape juice that suits you.
Many of these companies ship to Australia now.

You mentioned that you are using only 6mg tobacco flavors. 6mg is nothing and generally people start with something like 24mg.
Many sample pack liquids I've selected only offer 18mg as bottom strength and go up from there.

What are you using for a delivery system now?
Cartridges, Cartomizers, Tanks or direct dripping?
What type of atty's are you using?

Know that many seasoned vapors DO NOT end up using a Tobacco juice so try out different flavors that you think may appeal to you.
Eventually you will find what you like.

Let us know a little more details....
Regards, Charlie

And that mix helps with alot of things like dr.phil was saying. VG is a vapor king but misses alot of stuff pg has.

Some people are allergic to PG (I am), and thats another good reason to add some VG in the mix.

I would have to say a 60/40 would be your best bet, good vapor, great taste.

Now just focus on the Flavor and Nicotine Lvl's and your set!

I would have to say most venders that "Care" would only sell 60pg/40vg and 70/30. Pure PG is very thin , and pure vg is thick.

Ummmm no. Vendors that care will give more options so that those with sensitivity to PG or VG can order to suit their needs. I have a hard time with anything over 50% PG. I vape mostly 60% vg, sometimes a 50/50. A good vendor that knows their juices will adjust the flavoring for the PG/VG content the customer is asking for. 60 vg works just fine in clearomizers etc. I may have to swirl a little slower from time to time, but that's not a problem even when chain vaping. We all need to exhale sometime.
