Hey guys... i have a blank cartomizer i am trying to refill with a new e-liquid.

By now, im use to filling cartomizers via the drip method.

i tried refilling the new cartomizer with the new e-liquid, but the e-liquid is very thick, that when dripping it into the cartomizer, it just kind of gloups down the side slowly, then sits on top of the mesh fibre inside the cartomizer, not soaking in!?

the e-liquid is, dekang grape 12mg from vaper-room, and is 20/80 PG/VG

what should i do?

i do have cleromizers that will probably fill better with it, but im worried about ruining the tank.

also, i have some other new juices including a minty lemon vg base flavour liquid, but with it being citrus, im not sure if i can use it in my iclear 10 and 16 tanks? will it crack the tanks?

thanks,

Slum

Try putting a few drops of juice in and then flicking the carto like you would a thermometer, with the battery connection away from you. This should force some of the juice into the filler by centrifugal force. Many cartos are a little resistance on the first fill and it should get easier after you use it.

You could also try the cap fill method, where you fill one of the rubber caps about half full and then gently push the battery end of the carto into it. That will force the e-liquid into the carto from that end and makes an easy way to let it sit for awhile to get saturated.

If all else fails, you could try cutting that thick e-liquid with a little vodka or pure grain alcohol (PGA).

I just blow lightly into the carto. This gets the liquid down into the filler. Repeat till the filler is soaked.:)

i vape Boba's Bounty in Boge lr cartos and i use the condom method. i let the juice get to the top and it does sit on the filler material so i then pull the carto out of the condom and put on my drip tip and suck in a puff puff kinda way until you dont hear the gurgle then pull off the drip tip and you will see that the juice has instantly soaked into the filler at the top breaking that vapor lock.

i do this until its full and it has worked amazingly for me. just do that until most of the juice is gone from the comdom.

it sure makes things go faster than waiting for it to soak in.

don't suck too hard at first or you will get juice in your mouth.

Hey guys, thanks for the replys, been trying a couple of things...

first, it tried the liquid in one of my older 808 carts, the liquid soaked in just fine.

so i assume the wadding is just packed a little tightly on the new cart im trying to fill.

i tried poking it with a needle lots of times, and this helped get some of the pool liquid soaked in.

next i tried the condom method as suggested (i was orgiannly against this method, as its a bit messy and wastes juice), which worled ok, still got juice pooling at the top.

so i took off the condom, and swung it 180 back and forth to get some centrifugal force... this help get more juice in

tried blowing on the end a couple times, this also helped get some more juice in... just kept doing all this till i got about 1-1.5ml of juice in there.

left it a little while before trying it out.... tried it out on a couple of idff voltages, theres vapour, but it seems a but dry and flavourless. its not like this with my older cart i tried it out on... any ideas?

gona try it from my clero and see what the flavour is like from there... the juice smells amazing, so im expecting it should taste as good as it smells, and im sure this is quality juice, so it must be something im doing wrong :(

thats guys, i tried all the methods... im pretty sure the cargo is pretty filled now. but despite everything, it just isnt tasting very nice at all from the cartomizer :(

i tried the juice from the iclear 16, and WOW! so much vapour and the flavour is amazing!!! ive been using cartomizers up till now, and ive been missing out!

i have a minty lemon flavoured juice vg based, i want to try from my iclear 16, but worried it might ruin my tank because of the citrus. anybody able to advise me on this, or point me in the direction to find what tanks are able to handle what liquids? ive been searching on the net for this to no avail.

The protank has a class tank section, and will work fine with those kinds of juice.
