first off i wanna say that i just started this job monday, its a no smoking factory. Im in through a temp service and i was told by them that i cant smoke there so i automatically thought that it would be fine for me to smoke my vape there. It was going fine for the first three days, people at my job asked me about it and were really curious so i told them the advantages of using one. the smokers seemed to like it and i actually convinced a few to buy one, and some really didnt like it but didnt care i used one. then today after one of my breaks my supervisor ask me if im the one with the electronic cigarette and i said yeah and he told me i couldnt use it. said that you cant smoke or fake smoke at all at the factory, or chew but people even my line supervisor chew. its no smoking facility not a no tobacco use factory. so im gonna ask him why tomorrow. i dont really want to press it though cause i want to get the job, i really like it. but hopefully he will see that its just steam. someone was probably just hating cause they didnt have it and couldnt smoke their analogs so they told on me. oh well, im 3 days now with no analogs and cant wait till my kgo comes in so i can get rid of these annoying blu's.

I think what he means by stealth method is just to be discreet about it. Maybe keep it in your pocket and use it when you go to the bathroom or something. Or when you do use it, inhale it in deeper and blow it out slower so there is less vapor. There are even batteries out there that don't have any led too and those are called stealth batteries.

Can't vape at work...Yea, right

Before I retired...the company I worked for came up with this idiot policy.
They knew vaping was not harmful...But they just didn't even want the
"appearance of smoking" at work. Anything tied to tobacco or would even
remind someone of tobacco...they were opposed to it.

They told me no more vaping at work
I replied OK...Ya see, I don't argue with idiots.
Then I went to stealth and the bathroom was my favorite place to go on breaks

Separate from vaping...The company had so many BS rules that 1 day I announced
I quit and taking early retirement. They asked me when am I leaving? I told them
"Yesterday was my last day...I'm leaving NOW"...The boss replied...You just can't
quit on the spot and walk out...I replied watch...The last your going to see of me
is the bottom of these hush puppies walking out the door....BYE and left.

Well, actually...the last thing they probably remember was my fist in the air
with 1 extended finger !!! 8-o

i too do not argue with idiots, i got cought vaping once at work when i used to work at lowes. my manager told me its forbidden, blah blah blah. i told him to show me where in the company handbook rules and/or regulations where it says i cant vape. he pointed out the no smoking/tobacco policy, i pulled up the dictionary.com definition of smoking, after talking to 10 managers and the human rsources manager he was out of cards to play. he simply said "no" then i pointed to the dip under his lip and under the lips of almost every manager in the store. after that people just left me alone. i no longer work there but i hear vaping has been added to the policys about smoking.

i vape at my desk since jan of 2011. I use the ego, just got the 18650 ego mod. I don't advertise as I been stealth vaping from day 1. My supervisor and dept mgr. have all caught me vaping. I didnt try to explain it, I told one supervisor it's not actual smoke just mist from my vaporizer. I told her it repairs my lungs from years of smoking. Now they don't even say anything, just hey, it smells like waffles in your office. lol. never argue with idiots, even if you prove your point, theyll just change the policy.

my policy is if they take away internet/vaping I'm out!

You people didn't think I came here to work did you. lol, nah I'm playin

Yes,people are well programmed by now,its comes out of your mouth after you sucked on a stick,it HAS to smell like an analog...I`ve experienced this crap no later than last week...a dude that doesnt care too much about my vape but yet, keeps making comments and jokes (usually, that is actually disturbing them but they dont have the cojones to tell you)

You thing smells like xxxx or xxxx and all the time, they are waaaay off...one told me it smelled like tobacco when I was vaping strawberry...

A fellow patron at a restaurant stopped by our table last week and asked, "Sorry to impose, but did I see smoke coming out of your nose a while ago??" I replied, "Crap! Was I on fire again??" I then explained what it was. Luckily it's a restaurant that my finacee and I frequent and all the srvers/managers have given their blessing. I try to be discreet, so as to not cause any issues, but couldn't resist.

Unfortunately it's going to take forever for the self-righteous judgementalists to step down off their platforms long enough to educate themselves about the differences between vaping and smoking. As of yet, those types of arrogant people can not celebrate for us, because they are too hooked up on bashing us. Once they understand that the eCig is a tool towards zero nicotine addiction for many, and zero tar and toxins for everyone, maybe they'll move on towards facing their own addictions in the mirror, such as criticizing, arrogance, salt, caffeine, sex, love, religion, shopping, eating, anorexia, busy body, procrastinating, ... oh the list does go on. Everyone is addicted to something, at some point in their life, even if it's just being addicted to attacking those who are helping themselves to a healthier lifestyle. Hang in there, educate, and send positive thoughts their way so that they too may one day be free from their personal battles.
