I know it's just a matter of time but I sure hope a new atomizer design that is not made in China comes around. Or is there one already that is commercially available?

Here in a few days that is the only thing left I should have to order that will likely be either D.O.A or last an incredibly short time.

Not even going to bother sending the passthrough back that lasted long enough to make a sizzling noise before it stipped doing anything. I'm learning to tell myself what did I expect...

I'm not sure about US-manufactured atomizers. I wholeheartedly agree with you about the lack of quality. That's why I've resorted to DIY solutions. We all need to work together to come up with something better

Cart mods are great and all, but I'm still waiting on a 100% DIY solution for battery+atomizer. Something that I can have quality control over..

If you want quality you have to pay for it and even then lifespan is still going to be variable in the same way an electric light bulb has a variable lifespan since it's similar technology, converting power to heat using thin wire, hence why they're classed as disposable.
Puresmoker do a quality pass-through which costs 6 times as much as a Chinese model. I doubt I want to pay $30 per atomizer especially considering the current cheap ones last me a month or more when treated correctly.
