Hope I can find something I like among all this. The only thing I'm enjoying so far is the aniseed.

To be honest that just looks like a list of potentially everything and a waste of a comment, might as well have said any juice may crack your plastic tank.
I have used cola of different makes on a few occasions and my all day vape is aniseed and I do like absinthe very similar to aniseed and never cracked or damaged a tank in my short history of vaping, probably close to a year now. All my tanks are plastic at the moment but I am trying to change that slowly.
But maybe the problem is not the juice, maybe it's the tank. I know some clones are rubbish and yes I have wasted my money on some, maybe they are cheap quality tanks out there as well. But to just list cola for example as a tank cracker is rediculous.
But thanks for the reply.

I didn't carefully read the list. Mostly, I use flavours that tend to be OK.

I'm mostly using mini Nautilus, MOW and mPT2, and they're glass.
I do still use one or two basic Evods though, and recently had an Apple Pie one break the plastic mouthpiece off two ...I'd forgotten by the time I used it again!
I've had a lime and also a lemon one frost clearomisers in the earlier days, and also a cappuccino one that broke the top clean off two - thought that one very odd!

I don't think every brand of a flavour will do it ..just one of those things.
I do remember seeing the odd site that will warn of tank cracking on every item ...just to cover themselves most likely, so not a lot of help.

I just find it hard believe that a juice is a tank cracker, I'm not saying it doesn't happen. Has anyone actually bought a "tank cracker" and proved it cracks tanks and then put the exact same juice in more, different make and model tanks and watched them crack. Scientifically I find it hard to believe that it's the juice only that's a cracker.

If you get a real tank-cracker you'll know it. I have a couple of juices that will literally dissolve a head like a CE4 within 30 seconds. The plastic just dissolves and the head falls apart. (And yes, it's very repeatable as I found out to my chagrin when I stupidly tried the same juice in another head).

I have heard reports of other juices that attack the heads more slowly; haven't had that happen to me.

Next question :- how do you find out which tanks are polycarbonates
Answer :- try a juice and see if it cracks
Manufacturers site should give such details.

As in my earlier post, I had two Evod tops break off with an Apple Pie which was of course fine in a glass tank.
I had two that frosted the tanks and another that broke the tops off three eSmart Clearomisers.

Yes I agree but why do they only crack some tanks? And has that same bottle of tank cracker cracked every tank it was put in? Or is there a weakness in some tanks? It's just the my brain works at times when I'm bored:blink:
After losing two perfectly good Evods, I wouldn't want to try another plastic one. Same went for the eSmart Clearomisers (thought I had a faulty box of them at first).

Sounds real interesting, would love to see this happen. And if it does that to plastics, what's it doing to our lungs?
It's a pain to have the top break off minutes after refilling a nice clean tank! Quite a shock too as they were actually being used at the time ...just broke off and fell to the floor!

I suspect it's a particular ingredient that is only in some flavour brands, so not in every one of the same type. My four were Apple Pie, one brand of Cappuccino, a Lime and a Lemon. I also had throat problems with the three fruit ones too.
