In the the CC cloth, they are very wet, so soak the button in there.
This last week my GG won't stay shiny. I am a hairstylist and I have been doing a lot of chemical services so I think that is my problem. My GG is so dull and I shine it and the next day it is dull and hard to shine. I wash my hands before holding my GG but I think for some weird reason my body chemistry has changed and is causing the dullness. Has anyone else had this happen? It is so frustrating.

I use the CC polishing cloths and was told that it would leave a protective barrier so I wouldn't get it all dirty immediately but
i did the cc polish yesterday and just like you whenever I touch my
gg it get pretty dirt and covered with fingerprints.... also dull and the center brass piece has already gotten as dirty as when
i polished it yesterday.
i am hoping to try the flitz stuff everyone is talking about, it is suppose to9 leave a thicker layer of protection, but
i need to use up my 18 dollar cape cod multi-pack tin first.

ggts and steal it. Do not get me wrong!, I would fight as best as
i could to protect it but with osteo-necrosis of the hip, I am sure it would a little tough.

Don't give up on the CC Cloths. It may be the pollen in the air or something. This just started. My GG is not pretty now no matter what I do. It has never happened to me before. The GG is the same and the only thing different is all the pollen. I know this sounds pretty stupid but it is all I can think of that has changed in my life except maybe a few more perms. I hope someone else can offer us some insight on this.
No it is not stupid, brass and aluminium react on moisture, temperature and other factors in the air. Even if your sweat contain at times more salt or other substances, it can affect the shine. When I was having a flue a few weeks ago I could not get my GG shiny
