Cappy's gg avs 510 part2

Watched again. One thing maybe worth doing (to maximize tank use) is putting the hole at the 901 side of the adapter or for people who exclusively want 510 actually putting the adapter on and drilling the hole through the very bottom, atty connector and all. Would save slotting it then. What ya think Cappy?

Does it need to have flow through the tiny hole in the threading bottom side of the 510? Is this why your hole on the top?

And make sure your 510 is ok, tried a couple then and 1 wont screw to the bottom of the adapter. I suspect it was this bad threading that made my earlier attempts inconsistent.

I think the best way to make the 510 connector would be like I said long ago and it is to make an all brass or aluminum connector with a native 510 connection like the adapter looks like on the top of the connector, then have one or two laser holes at the bottom of the side walls, this would slow the liquid down enough that the 510 wouldn't flood and allow just the right amount in, it could be tested by starting off with one laser hole, then move to two and so on to see what works best. I have been testing with adapter and connectors for months now and this seem to work best, Rob since you have been the longest and best GG supplier I would like to here your opinion if that's possible or Cappy's

Gave this a go via your instructions. Put the hole down the bottom though and it happened to cut a channel in the AVS atty connector top. Unfortunately my hole was a bit too big and I had flooding. So I changed the AVS .... plug to a new one and tried again.

No flooding and a nice tight draw like I like. Fluid must be getting through threads and my wonky filing. Might try my tiny tiny drill bits to ease the draw slightly but I'm coming to the conclusion that a mass produced more exact adapter would be the go, probably the whole .... plug area in a 510 format with a hole near the bottom of tank (clearing o-ring).

You must make a 510 connector. It is your duty and purpose in life. Seek only to make a 510 connector Imeo.

My thoughts are to make it 1 mm longer so it will raise 1mm from the existing 901 one and nothing else. Agree Hope? I dont see a reason for a side hole. Mine works exellent without any modification. Why did you modified yours or why other people like storly mwa or cappy make holes?
