My first car was an '89 Taurus LX. Rolled it in Bend, Oregon while moving, totaling it. My next car was a '96 Taurus. Started out great, but then the speedometer, radio, cig lighter, interior lights, and some other things went out on it, and the transmission was shifting so hard into 2nd gear that it would try to throw me into oncoming traffic. I traded it in for a '95 Lincoln Continental. Beautiful car, drove and rode like a dream. It got repossessed, and for a year I had no car. Now I drive a '94 Dodge Spirit with 206,000 miles on it. It's not the prettiest car, but it drives good and is great on gas.

So far, I've had a few "throw-away" cars, but I dearly miss my Lincoln. It was so awesome.

yeah, pretty sure. if that's the case, you should check and see if stock Taurus brakes would bolt up, as i imagine they'd be a decent upgrade over the stock fusion brakes.

I have got a super nice set of rotors (not oversized of course) but I want the big calipers either 4 or 6 piston. I'll check on the Taurus brakes. Thanks man.

This is my car:

It's a 2002 Saab 9-3 Aero HOT (High Output Turbo) ragtop. It has a MapTun (Swedish Tuning co) Stage 3 conversion giving (sorry about the European units) 270bhp and 370Nm torque. It has handing modifications too. I've delierately kept it looking stock (I like sleepers).

Cool, I had a buddy when I was in high school that had a modded econoline truck with a ford 351 Clevland in the bed. That thing was bad to the bone! I read your profile and noticed your a vet and got banged up. Your 22 right? So you must of been stationed in the dust pits. I just wanted to say thanks bud.

Right on! I understand, The VA can be a pain. My uncles been fighting them for years. He's one of those guys that got cancer from agent orange in Nam. He was telling me he finally found some orginazation that goes to bat for vets like him and yourself. They deal with all the red tape and stuff to get things done for vets because dealing with gov bureaucracy sucks. I can't remember their name but I'll try to find out for you unless you allready know?
