French Vanilla Deluxe will be too much and overpowering everything at %8 which must be decreased to %1.5. The french vanilla II I was talking about is the v2 of Perfumers. Here is the link Perfumers Apprentice - French Vanilla II Flavor It does not have diketone like deluxe and v1 also it does not have eggy notes and can be used at %8. Using deluxe vanilla at %8 will ruin the recipe after 15 days steep, so I recommend you to change the flavor as french vanilla II in the above main formula and make a note for deluxe. I have never used deluxe more than %1.7 in any of my recipes.

Make a small batch using the above recipe, and let it steep. I don't find the vanilla overpowering at all.
I find it is exact.
Of course everyone's tastes are different
