Caravela full kit

So I bought a Full Caravela mod kit genesis style atomizer. My friend told me that when rebuilding coils i have a chance of short circuiting battery and stuff. Do i have to use a volt meter to measure the correct voltage for my preference. Or can ijust build a coil how ever i like and just use it?

You need a ohm meter so you can check resistance and look for shorts

And for using a rebuildable atomizer on a variable wattage/voltage mod I dont have to check resistance?

^ what fogma said. There are youtube videos to show how to rebuild your atomizer. Just do a search for your specific atomizer and you'll be fine.

Regulated devices, wattage/voltage, you have to build to it's specifics. Most need a build of 1.3+ resistance.

You really do need an ohm meter and/or a multimeter if you plan on rebuilding and using mech mods. It's important to know the charge left in your batteries as well as the resistance of your coils. Push the envelop enough, and something could go pretty wrong.
