Caravela got cloned

For those who want caravela, I see it just got cloned and sell on fasttech around $20 ish included all size tube

if anyone has any interest in it for the fit and finish i would wait till some reviews roll in, it would not be the first clone that doesnt quite live up to the pictures.

in the FT closeups those tube threads look like they will be a little crunchy.

It is Brass - not gold/not paint, but it is ugly with the SS top cap.

Caravela got cloned long ago. FT just started carrying one of the copies.

The first few attempts if cloning the caravela were really terrible. Since then China has gotten much more proficient at cloning, so we just have to wait and see.

Probably shavings from the machining process. A warm soapy bath will make the threads smooooth like silk I bathe all my clones. Threads are always perfecto !

I almost dropped the hammer on one of those (along with some other FT items) but I've got two orders from FT in the air, and one that was just "returned to sender". I'm gonna wait until this mess is resolved before placing another order.

I was going to order this but the cyc style contacts doesn't hit that hard compared to the chemesis. Its a big difference to me.
