I just got the eGo today..supposedly a Joye, but i'm not 100% sure its not a knockoff as it came in a 'Liberty Flights' box and not a joye one....here he be...
Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Joye eGo

So, this thang showed up without a single piece of directions or info. I've been vaping for about 6 mos now with a Firelight ultra, but this eGo is a whole 'nother ballgame. I've NO idea how to care for this thing. I basically just winged it and stuck a new cartridge (got some cartos, but haven't tried those yet) on, plugged in the passthru battery i got, and started puffin'.

However, when i started vaping with my firelight I learned after about 3 mos (and maybe...oh...20 or so fried batteries/10 dead attys) that there were things I should be doing differently to care for my electronic smokey treat. I flat out can't afford to go replacing things willy nilly with the eGo because of misuse/lack of maintanance, so figured I'd better ask the experts.

I've hunted and found NOTHING on firing up a new eGo for the first time. I don't even see info on suggested first time out battery charges. Any suggestions? Manual anywhere? Anything i need to watch out for with using eGo for the first time, or perhaps a link to a thread on using carto's for the first time (i got mine empty). Really appreciate the help!

Oh, also...i used to clean my attys for firelight by blowing into the 'wrong' end...the side with the led light to burn off any excess juice. Also randomly vaped for a while with an empty cartridge to use up excess when it seemed like performance might be off because of flooding. Is there a similar solution to cleaning the ego attys in this way? And do you have to clean cartos in any way?

Whew! so there's a whole slew of questions for ye. Would be glorious if someone stuck some sort of a guide to eGo's for new users (just barebones care and feeding tips) up in here somewhere...i'm sure others have been as befuddled as i was. or maybe i'm just a goof. ;)

Thanks so much for your help!!!:p
