Joy ego passthrough-- whats my options?

I have 1 of these... Heres a link to exactly what it is.

It uses the little clear plastic tanks. I like it a lot but what can I do/get to make it a better vaping experience? It seems like sometime my juice is realy light. Im thinking it could be stronger. I use a volt form smokeless image & it seems like the taste is stronger/flavor with it. However I love the battery life & the no need to fill carts as much with the EGO. So if there is something I can do or get Im all ears. Im def open for any & all suggestions.

I ordered one Sunday night off of TW, a 900Mah passthrough here:

I'm not sure if its a straight 5v when its plugged in and 3.x when disconnected, or 3.x all the time and the plugin is just a charge feature.

I'll post back here when I get it today and get a chance to play with it.

I have that passthru, eGo with the ability to go anywhere when you need to, or use as passthru, and I really enjoy it. I use smoktech dual coil xl cartomizers with it, and I love them. They have good vapor, nice TH, and I've been using the same one, topping off before they get too low, for 4 days now with no problems.

Do you notice more flavor using the carts than the tanks? I feel like flavor is missing with the tanks. I can use the same juice in my ego with the tank & then in my volt from smokeless image & the juice has tons more flavor with the volt.

I definitely get more flavor using carts than my tank. I found however that if I directly inhale the vapor into my lungs with my tank instead of pulling the vapor into my mouth first, then inhaling ... I can get more flavor. I've only tried this on TV juices that are "sweet or smooth" in nature however. Stronger juices would probably be rather harsh to directly inhale. You can also take the two plastic pieces off inside the mouthpiece of the tank in order to potentially gain vapor and flavor. And lastly, a wick adjustment may help with flavor as well.

IMHO losing flavor is inevitable in the eGo-T design because no matter what you aren't directly inhaling the vapor straight from the heating source. The more surface area the vapor has to travel, the more the flavor will diminish I believe.
