Theres a thread here for care of the sb
Was just wondering if the same rules apply to the bb
Yes the same maintenance applies to the BB as the SB. The NOALOX get applied as needed, I usually clean it off and re-apply bout every 2 weeks or so. With all threads be careful there may be sharp edges. If you purchase the pass-through, be sure to remove the cord by the adapter not the cord :p

Chad, when we clean the threads, just wipe with a cloth? Do we use anything on them to clean and do we have to get all previous noloax off before reapplying?
It is not extremely important to get all of it off, just the majority. You could use a tooth brush if you really want to get it very very clean. :p

At my local Home Depot the Noalox was hanging at eye level along with a bunch of other Ideal brand electrical products like wire nuts. The small 1/2 ounce tube (in a blue and gray box about 4" tall) was around $2.79. They also had a much larger bottle for several dollars more, but the small tube should be enough to last for a long time.
