Careful where you set your open liquid to breathe...

Went to a local shop today that I had never been to before. They have some great juices and I bought a couple. One I had never heard of was called Modders Choice and the flavor was called All Day. It's a creamy berry flavor and tasted awesome.

I loaded up about 1ml in my tank, then left the open bottle on the dining room table to breathe a bit. Not even two minutes later, I hear a bang, and my wife yell "Why did you leave that sitting here?!"

She accidentally knocked it over, and almost the entire 15ml bottle was soaked into the table cloth

The bottle has maybe 1ml left in it now. This juice is good too... Oh well, my fault for leaving there, but man, this is a good juice!

Oh well... Live and learn. I will have to head back tomorrow for more.

Edit to add, we don't have kids or pets, just wanted to make sure people knew I wasn't being that irresponsible!

Use the table cloth a wick...

I always use my fireplace so my kids don't think it is an additive for water and drink it.

I always keep mine way up high to breathe in a closet. I have kids and pets though. Sucks that happened. I once knocked over a $10 bottle that was opened and lost basically all of it. Just bought it that day. Went down the sink though.

<y kids are grown and gone. For some reason they are on the other side of the country...

We do have cats. Anyway, I got into the habit of putting the open bottles on the top shelf of a bookcase.

Anyway, Its good to keep open bottles up high.

It's better to be safe from possible spillages - keep unlidded bottles in a high cabinet with the doors closed. Put a lock on the door if you have pets, or small children around who could potentially access those bottles.

I lost one of my 5 Pawns samples when I knocked it out of the cupboard while reaching for another juice. It hit the ceramic tile kitchen floors and that was that. I wished so hard that the bottle had been plastic!!
