I got a $5 carrying case for my e-cigs. Not bad for the money, but I don't like:

1. the layout;
2. the choice of items that fit the slots;
3. the fact that my e-cig parts didn't fit well; and
4. the dead space left in the case.

I have a DSE 901 and a DSE 801. I don't carry spare carts around, as I prefer to just refill them on the go. I fixed up my case to fit an 801 battery, three 901 batteries, and two 901 atomizers.

I used something that I picked up at Wal-Mart for $0.87 (CDN) in the sewing section. It's called a "Quick Count" Plastic Canvas; 7 mesh. I really don't know what this thing is actually for (I don't sew or knit), but it worked well to modify my carrying case.

Reinforcing it was easy to do by using extra strips of the grid. Two strips together snap snugly into the main piece, thus holding all the parts in place.

Without the mod, there's room for a fourth 901 battery and an 801 atty, or else a second 801 battery and a third 901 atty, but everything rattles around. I wanted everything to stay put.

I'll probably mod another case to hold more of my other spare bits (which are currently housed in the last analog cigarette pack that I ever purchased).

Since I'm a new user, these links won't work:

The mesh comes in about a square foot worth of material, so there's plenty left over to make a bunch of different layouts, depending on your vaping need and style. In hindsight, I didn't need to buy a second sheet, ha ha.

I recommend spacing the parts out by at least a grid for reinforcement as much as possible, with or without the reinforcing strips. I wanted to maximize the space, so the strips between the 901 batteries and attys are a little flimsy. I guess it doesn't matter so much when the case is filled with parts, though.
