Cart question for those...

who fill their own carts with liquid. Actually two questions:

1. How often in general do you put in fresh filler material after topping off a cart for a while? Once a day, once every two days, etc

2. How often do you just throw out the filler and put in new filler after you have rinsed it and reused it for a while? Once a week, once every two weeks, etc.

I never rinse fillers. I can replace them for $0.000000012 a piece. Walmart greenbag - filler for life.

Every two or three days. I can tell by the taste and the appearance.

Oh, and don't forget your straw.

As long as I don't burn the material by letting it get too dry, I have used the same cart for 2-3 weeks before changing the material.

I'd say whenever YOU don't like the taste, or it becomes worn out for you

i rinse and dry them all once per week - replace when they don't hold / wick anymore

I wash the batting after 3 days and I use the cart (901) for about 2 weeks they are cheep, but with shipping I have to be ordering a few things to make it worth while. next order I will buy another years worth cost is about $5.00 for how many I've been using.

I just ordered a Janty Stick so I will have to buy some 801 carts and attys it's going to be interesting to see how the 801 compares to the 901 in performance and how long between topping off, I like to top off rather than draining the carts dry, just another reason I wash the batting after 3 days and toss the whole thing after 2 weeks or less.
