I feel the delrin insulator or screws might be too long, but looking for everyone's input. Using a cartel and stillare rda, both clone and in brass. There is always a gap in either the 510 cap, or switch cap. I'm afraid to tighten it too much, and put too much pressure on the battery. Plus if I tighten it too much, it fires.

Is the 510 pin adjustable inside the mod &/or the derlin piece. I'm not familiar with this specific mod but others have adjustable pieces so you can tighten or loosen up the space for the battery. Have you tried adjusting these pieces? Also, are you using a button top battery? Does the device state that a button top is the appropriate battery to use? Many mods are made to only take the flat top batteries and vice versa.
I'm pretty sure it isn't the RDA. It's the insulator. I have the authentic Cartel Blaq and bought the upgraded silver plated contacts which came with new insulator. I haven't been able to remove the insulator that came stock in the mod.
The new insulator doesn't have threads, it looks like it just presses into the top of the mod. I have not been able to get it out.
It didn't matter until I tried to put the Forge v2 on and the RDA wouldn't screw down all the way b/c the insulator is blocking it.
