Carto as dripping atty?

So, say I'm really cheap and I have a bunch of empty cartos... Could I pull out the polyfill and use them as a dripping atty for sampling new juices? I know dry burning them would burn the coils sleeve, but I don't want to shell out the money for a mod yet, but I was just curious to see if they could be used temporarily while I decide what mod setup I want (or permanently depending on how cheap I feel )

Is it a bottom coil carto? It won't work otherwise.

lol...my co-worker tried it once just to see. Didn't work too well. Granted, he only tried it once with a used carto so maybe with some experimentation you might have some success. I can't honestly think of a reason why it wouldn't work. If I were going to try I would try using some low ohm cartos (say 1.5 ohm). Come to think of it I have a zillion at home. Maybe I'll revisit the experiment when I get back from my business trip.

Kanger bottom coil cartos work well as a dripping atomizer. I use these myself. The polyfill should pull out very easily.
