That is what I thought of. Also, has any one considered how much money is spent on water etc to clean these. I do it myself, but often wonder if I'm not spending more money on the water or vodka etc as opposed to just buying different ones.

Spending money on water while rinsing it out? Unless you are using several gallons while washing them out (super overkill IMO) you shouldn't even notice as for vodka i am sure people are not using a whole bottle to rinse carts out.

For me i take some boiling water and soak my carts in them until the wwater cools and then just rinse it out under the faucet for about 30-60 seconds.

Then i let it sit on top of my PS3 over night to dry it out (see PS3's are good for something!)

Nitsirk Oramation; Rubbing alcohol is VERY dangerous if inhaled. If there is any residue left you could end up in the hospital or dead. There is some info. on this in the Health,Safety and E-smoking section. Health and Medical Issues - E-Cigarette Forum. If you only rinse and do not flush out the cartomizer with a syrnge there is always residue left in the bottom of the cart when you refill. Be Careful !!!

Ok, so, not sure if his is a thread jack or not, but I just put a handful of kr808 cartos in a cup of nearly boiling water, let sit a couple of seconds, and repeated. ALL of the white plastic caps from the mouthpiece end deformed, and will no longer fit in the end. not sure if i did something wrong, as I did a test run with one before I tried the boiling method a week ago. this was only the second time I used this method. needless to say, the next time i clean my carto's, I will be careful not to get the hot water anywhere near the mouthpiece...

You have to remove the end caps prior to boiling/immersing cartos in boiling water and sanitize them separately. Dish soap or antibacterial wipes and a good rinse is enough.
