Carto flavor question

I ordered the Candy shop sample pack. Each one I try has a perfumey flavor to it. I take a few puffs and can't go on. Is this from the primer in the atty of it? Will it eventually go away? I got a sample of the menthols too and they don't have this flavor. Could it be that the menthol over powers the primer taste?

I don't think atomizer primer is an issue with V4L cartomizers.

Hmm then I wonder why each one has a perfumey taste to them.

The only fruit flavor I've tried was Orange juice and as much as I love oranges I didn't like the cartos sadly.

These are the candy cartos and it tastes like a mouthful of perfume not fruity more flowery.

I will give you a suggestion..it may and may not work for you. Try doing the taryn spin with them (see the sticky at the top of the V4L forum).
I have all but the red hots. None of mine has the purfumy taste. But I did try cider and it did. But after the 5th or 6th vape it went away and settled into a good flavor. I should have done the spin to remix the flavors!

I've never tasted perfume either. I can't imagine it's a good taste heh.

Didn't work on my Red Hots. Let me try it on the others. My hubby thinks I am nuts swinging my sock around with cartos in it lol

If spinning doesn't do the trick, let Steve or Mark know - every once in a while some perfumey carts appear.

You can always wipe it on your skin and use it as perfume heh.

Caramel and Butterscoth taste better still a bit perfumey but not like it was. Still working on the rest.

I have experienced the perfumeyness only once with a Holiday sampler (only SC, EN, and PP)and even then it went away with only a few puffs. I have ordered more SC since and have not experienced the perfume.

However, my DH: All of the flavours except the menthols/mints, tobacco flavours, old Cherry and Grape taste perfumey to him. Even fruits and flavours that don't even have a hint of perfume taste to me are perfumey to him.

Yeah my menthol sampler was fine. Just the candy sampler. This was my first order from V4L. So I am hoping when my 2nd order comes sometime next week I don't get that taste again. It is hard to shake I still feel like I am tasting and smelling it and I am on a menthol right now. I did PM Mark so who knows.

it seems like some people are more sensitive to the occasional 'perfumeyness' than others... i am not one of them, so i don't have any advice. have you experienced it with any non-V4L non-menthol juices, too?

Nope these were the only ones I have tasted it with. I don't have a lot of carto experience. These from V4L , menthol from another seller, and some Red bull and cash from someone else. But these 5 in the candy sampler all have the "taste".

Mine were like that too at first even with my friut flavore, but it did go away.... after maybe 10 - 20 puffs....

I was a puffing away trying to get the taste away. No such luck.
