Question to the bottom feeders.

I just got a Reo mini and yes...I absolutely love it.

2 questions.

1. I'm using 510 LR attys. I read that its a great way to make a 3.7 feel like 5v and I've also read that I shouldn't use these with a 14500 battery. Whats the skinny.

2. More than once, I've seen users put a carto on their bottom feed box.
Not sure if its because they were out of attys or if there's a preference to doing this.
Do you put a blank in, or did the carto most likely have juice in it?
If you use a blank, was it pre-filled or did squonking get it wet enough?

Thanks guys.

1. LR's can work well on 14500 batts at 3.7volts. 1.5Ω LR's can destroy some flavors though. 1.7-1.9Ω is more forgiving on flavor and the vapor is still huge.

2. I have a wetbox (bottom feeding mod) and usually I'll fill the carto before starting, just because it's easier. After that, I just squeeze the bottle when I detect a drop in flavor. Works well. I'm using CE2 R2's so no filler taste and it's a heck of a lot easier to fill those from the bottom :)
