Carto refilling tip/trick

Okay so I had heard enough about how great cartos were with the V2 so I bought an adapter and a few cartos and gave it a whirl. The good news is that they behave like 510's but last ALOT longer! The atty's never sem to die! And the they cost like under $2 ea!!

What's not to like right? Well for one thing they get hot as hell!! Maybe it's just me but the cartos heat up so much during heavy vaping that I have to set it down for fear of burning my lips off. Am I a ..... and doing something wrong? Would like some input from other Carto users.

The second thing is that the "traditional" way of refilling them is kind of a pain. So I did did a search and came up with a thread that touts a new way of refilling. I must say it's pretty cool and totally hassle free. Check it out:

That's been around for awhile. Use about 15 drops, make sure your cap is setting on a flat, hard surface and push the carto down slow. You can also pry the mouthpiece out and fit another 10 drops on top. Don't forget to wash out your cap if, like most, you reuse them. They will get sticky.

dudes... just take the rubber cap that came with your cartos and use those for your caps. ditch the little white plastic cap and the circular rubber part below that and you can easily refill your carto by just taking off your new simple cap. the rubber never gets deformed and obviously fits on the carto very well so you'll never lose them. here's a pic of my set-up. oh yeah, the rubber cap also prevents your lips from getting burned during those heavy vaping sessions.
