I found out today that someone tried to use my credit card online (for a 1065 purchase to MedHealth, then 1.95 to USA People Search and 2.50 to S Russel Resources) So long story short I had to cancel my credit card and it will be 7-10 days before I get another one. I was about to place an order for Cartos when I learned of all that at the Post Office shipping my PIF stuff. (They did turn it on to pay postage then I canceled it :)) But if you know of somewhere I can place an order without a CC I would appreciate it.

Not from what I'm reading, looks like it takes the money from your paypal account but it generates a new cc number each time you use it so you don't have to worry about someone getting your cc numbers again.

Not to hijack, but has anyone used one of those prepaid cards to buy supplies? My wife just realized how much I spent last month and life would be easier if I can fund my purchases without getting a monthly bill showing them all on one statement. An order here, an order there seems to add up quick when you see a full month's worth!

I personally have a paypal mastercard (debit) because I have a home business. I think almost anyone can sign up for a business acct through paypal though....say if you're like an ebay seller or something. That is what I use primarily as there is no statement, everything I sell on here goes to my paypal, and I can take cash out of an ATM if need be too. It's really a great thing!!

you can get the prepay cards (I got mine from walgreens) and use them online however the trick is to get one that is not a gift card and then you have to wait for them to send you the real card before it works with online merchants or the gas pump for that matter. You can refill them online or over the phone which i use the phone since doing it online kind of defeats the reason i have it..

I've used the Paypal one-time credit card thing and it works as advertised. You install a plugin for your browser and there will be a paypal button in your menu bar. Click it and it will generate a mastercard number that is only good for one transaction. You use that to pay for an order on a website, and the money is taken directly from your paypal account. I'm not a huge fan of paypal, but there are times when you want to be extra careful, and this is the safest way to do it.

There's also the option of a PP debit card. If you have an acct you should be able to apply for it. It functions like a bank debit card w/ a Mastercard logo. You can link it to your bank acct, or leave it for PP balances only. I don't like the idea of having the debit card linked to my bank acct, so I don't use it that way.
I also find it handy for trial offers, you know the ones that force you to use a CC to sign up and then you have to remember to cancel? I'll just use the PP card, in case of cancellation trouble which does happen. If the money isn't in the acct, they can't take it. lol

Vapor Junction takes checks and money orders according to their payment page. They have KR8 cartos, decent prices and for a first time order, use code grandopeningecf20 for 20% off your order.

    Edit: Here is their info:

    Check/Money Order
Please make your check or money order payable to:
    Vapor Junction LLC
    (address listed here)
    Mail your payment to:
    Vapor Junction, LLC

Your order will not ship until we receive payment.

Something else that just came to mind on this....I used to travel the country for a job I had as a mobile electronics installation technician and my answer to quick cash and security was my debit card from Western Union. They have 'em too...you simply locate a Western Union location and sign up for one and when you need more money on it you go to the western union location, give them your card (for the card number) and put however much money you want on it. It acts like a credit card so you don't have to use a pin.
