Carto/Tank and 50-50 Juice question

Hey all,

Ok...

Running IBTanked 19mmXL with Ikenvape Fusion 3.0 cartos. The juice is HHV Cinful Pear 50/50 6ml...

I'm noticing that the flavor leaves after a bit (maybe a day) and to get it back I have to use the 'thingy' it came with to do the fill trick... Is 50/50 too thick to work with those holes in the carto? It's like it isn't wicking or something...

tank is half full...

Thanks! Loving my new setup....

I am using the xl 19 mm IBT tank with 50/50 Virgin Vapor e juice and a pre-punched Smok, 2 hole, 3.2 Ω carto. I can vape the said down to the holes. Occassionally, a dry pull is needed, to keep the filler in the carto wet, due to my chain vaping. I have, at times, slightly enlarged one of the pre-punched holes with a carto puncher to promote better wicking.

I use the same Ikenvape 510 Fusion punched 3.0 ohm carts you have, also mostly in IBTanked cartotanks.

Most of my juices are 50/50 ratios. I got to tell ya, you will notice a slight drop in flavor after the first tankfull of juice. Not much can compare to a fresh carto in a tank. After that there will be a gradual decline in flavor, and a gradual increase in the pull when you vape. When the pull becomes too stiff or the carto begins gurgling or flooding, it's time for a new carto.

You can try doing a couple of primer pulls (sucking without power on) to bring additional juice into the carto, or try topping the carto off with additional juice occassionally. For a 50/50 ratio juice, the two laser-drilled holes should be enough to allow enough juice into the cartomizer. If you have a carto punch tool handy, you can try enlarging or adding another hole but you might risk flooding the carto in the process. Experiment and see what works best for you.

Are you doing a hard short pull when you vape? A slow, deliberate, patient pull of 3 - 6 seconds in length works best. Think sucking on a straw in a thick milkshake. Give the holes time to allow the right amount of juice to reach the cart. You don't want too little (dry hits) or too much (gurgling or flooding).
