I've been vaping for a couple months now, starting with a protank mini on a vision spinner, and have since moved on to primarily using an igo-L with both a tesla and K100. I've been considering adding some carto tanks to my collection because I've been told they are better for using on-the-go. so my question is, do any of you have issues with carto tanks leaking or gurgling the way bcc's tend to? also, any recommendations as far as favorite setups to look in to would be greatly appreciated.

Cartos will gurgle if you get juice in the air channel. A little blow on the top of carto to clear the channel usually solves the problem. Once the carto is in a tank, however, I've found that just continuing to vape it clears it up. There are many tanks out there, but one that comes highly recommended and affordable is here IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us!. I use them and have been very satisfied. There are also locking carto tanks, such as the AGR+. Some reviewers have reported leaking problems with these tanks but I have had zero, nada leaking issues with them. Welcome to the wonderful vaping world!

Congratz, I like carto's tell they spit in my mouth. However the flavor is pretty good for such an old device. I know they make different kinds of carto's and the ohm's of them make a big difference as to how it vapes. I like low res carto's myself...oh, and one more thing, you have to soak/prep/prime them or you can burn the "batting/stuffing/wicking" really easy, they do sell a tool that is like a syringe that screws onto the carto, you fill the syringe up with juice screw it onto the carto then squeeze the juice through the carto tell its full, then you suck the juice back out and the carto will be primed!! Very cool tool, you might also want to pick up a carto punch for punching your own holes...they are like 5 bucks. I hope this helps!

circa 2011, carto tanks were the product that caused vaping to 'come of age' so to speak. All of a sudden it was possible to load & go for the day. They still rank tops on my best products list, and I'm still using the same J-tanks that I got when they first started making them.
Since cartos can last for a month, instead of for just a few days, when used in a tank, I figure that I'm getting paid to use tanks because of what I haven't spent on cartos. They are truly on of the best products out there.

There are also plenty of good carto choices to use in a tank, and you should have no problem finding one that sutes you.

Leaks come from bad o rings on carto tanks... Or cartos flooding from over priming or dragging too hard on them for your heating element to keep up. I use SR Boge cartos and use a vw or vv device to bump up the vapor production. I use a 50/50 mix juice and punch my own larger holes in the cartos and don't have too many issues. I think you will find out after playing around a bit what works for you.... Just keep trying until you find the right mix of it all and you will be very happy with cartos.... Good luck and happy vaping
