I'm going to be taking my first step into VV-VW vaping this week with a purchase of a Vamo V2 and I really need some input on the best tanks and attys for a new vapor and more so the best tanks/attys to use with this mod. Any sites you guys and gals can give me so I can form a list and get a better grasp of how much I'm going to be investing would be great.

I can't help you with dripping attys as I don't use them. I can help you with cartomizers and cartotanks, though.

I've got a lot of info for beginners in my blog with articles on juice delivery devices, cartomizers and cartotanks. One article is on cartotank setup, one on a review of a popular pyrex cartotank that I highly recommend, and another article with a list of online vendors that sell pre-punched cartomizers for tanks. You can find this blog here: E-Cigarette Forum - Baditude - Blogs

If you can wait a week or two, IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us! will be offering a new 22mm pyrex tank with a choice of different colored anodized aluminum end caps which will be the perfect diameter for a VAMO.

Concerning cartomizers, there are three major brands to choose from: Boge, Smoktech, and Ikenvape. If not familiar with carto brands and their size designations, use the below diagram to choose the correct carto for the length of tank you choose (or vise versa).

I can't thank you enough for all your help. I watched all of your videos and read all of your blog posts and I feel I have a much better understanding of what I need now. Where in your opinion is the best place to get quality replacement cartomizers for the best price? I'll most likely be getting a larger tank setup to avoid filling as frequently. And I will for sure be picking up a tank or two of those 22mm diameters when they come out but in the meantime I'll probably pick up a tank or two just to get into the hang of things.

I use either Ikenvape 510 Fusion mega (a 3.0 ohm single coil) or Ikenvape mega Platinum (a 2.5 ohm single coil), both punched! https://www.ikenvape.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=1860

The Ikenvape carts are a popular high quality carto line that are only produced in a quantity that can not meet demand, so they are frequently out of stock. I advise you to get on their email notify me list for when shipments are in, and don't delay purchasing them when in stock. They typically sell out within hours.

I've also used Smoktek single coils from here: Single Coil XL Tank replacement 510 cartomizer for 3.5 and 6ml SmokTank XL - w/flange and 1, 2 or 3 holes.

My favorite tanks to use are the IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us!; high quality yet very reasonably priced. My primary device is a full size Provari, with a new Mini Provari on the way.

Being a new vapor (I'm assuming), you may not have many flavors in use yet. I just reached my 1 year anniversary being smoke free via vaping, so I have many flavors that I have accumulated over that time and still enjoy. I have a dozen tanks set up at any given time, each with their own flavor. I typically change flavors 3 - 4 times a day. For this reason, I've changed from larger tanks to smaller tanks; in part because I've gone to slimmer mods like the Provari and gripper-style box mods as opposed to larger mechanical mods like the Silver Bullet.

You can see pics of my tanks and mods in my photo gallery: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/members/baditude-albums-pictures-my-setup.html

I'm not really worried about the looks so much as the performance. I'm moving up from a Biansi Imist 2 so as you can imagine performance is now my focus. The Imist 2 worked wonderfully for the first couple weeks but since it's performance has been abysmal, even edging on infuriating. I think more juice has run down the device and all over my hands than that has touched the coil.
