I agree, it must be an air flow issue. I use smoktech single coil 1.7 cartos and I have no problem with stiff draws. I wish we could all just get together and see what's going on without having to sit here and try to write about it.

Ive heard of some people taking a cutting wheel on a dremmel and putting a small slice instead of another hole. As far as the top of the polyfill not looking wet, it dosent matter. The coils arent at the top of the pf. As long as the bottom gets saturated, you have proper airflow and the carto still fires you should be blowing clouds! XD
That said, i bought the cheap 5ml dct from madvapes 3 weeks ago and havent had any of these issues. Still vaping the origional carto that was in it. Its just now getting a lil stiff, but still putting out some awesome vapor!

I just tried a "cutting wheel" method. First of all the "metal/whell dust" is getting in to the slot and stuck in to a filler (the juice looks like a dirty water now). I could see a tiny metal splinters in the inner side of the slot (where the wheel stops). There is no difference in performance between slotted and punched cartos.
