Cartomiser guy looking for assistance on a tank or 2 peice cart system.

Hi! I have been vaping my v2 kr808-d1 for a little over a month and have tried a few other super cheap brands that i purchased in the gas stations around town. The reason I went with carts in the first place was due to the bad experiences i had with the cheap two peice cartridge designed ones i did first. I have been analog free for about 6 weeks now and I have 12 of the 15 cartomisers that i received from v2( just been poppin the caps and fillin) I am looking for a tank system that will allow me not to have to fill in the middle of work. I have to carry around a 5ml bottle of juice and i am always afraid that it will kersplode one day on me. I have also made the decision that I am ready to invest in something different as I haven't had good luck with the new ce2's adn well lets just face it. this is my new obsession and i am willing to dump some dough into it( cue suppliers sales pitch........NOW). I have been reading on the forums for a few days now and I am really wanting to get an ego-t. I have several questions regarding it though.

1. Where should I buy it from? I have been to 7-10 different websites looking at them and I have found that there are two different batteries that they can come with, the 650mah and the 1000mah. in my rc days the mah meant how long the batteries lasts, not necessarily the throughput of the device, hence the two items you typically see on batteries( 3.7v=throughput 1000mah=milliamp hours).

2. What can i do to not be one of the unlucky ones who have so many problems with these devices? any prepping items i can do. I saw the doc vapor video about the battery charging for 8 hours, using for 20 minutes and then charging again for an hour. I am not too worried the batteries more the atty's.

3. How can i clean these atty's? My understanding that rather then using a filling system like a cartomiser this "indirect" drips on the atty causing a build up of the un vaporizable materials. I understand that a traditional atomizer would be set into rubbing alcohol or regular alcohol for an amount of time to break of the "burnt on" materials.

I really appreciate any and all assistance. Please don't post if you don't have constructive advice or criticism. Thank you so much in advance for the responses.

Edit: I got to thinking about this after original posting. I have additional questions

4. Will the ego pcc work with ego-t batts? if it is 2000mah it would charge my batt twice, in theory. just not sure about the chips inside and if it would sense the different charging source.

5. I am a huge fan of usb passthroughs, will the ego usb passthrough work with my ego-t carts?

thanks again!

1) there are many reputable vendors. My personal choice of vendors for genuine Joye eGo stuff is cignot. You can find an eGo-t for maybe a few bucks less elsewhere, but you won't find faster shipping or better customer service anywhere. At cignot, you can customize your order a little and get a 650 and a 1000 mah - or two 650s or two 1000s. - And just a "by the way", the eGo batteries are regulated and output around 3.2v or so. They don't output 3.7

2) Buy your eGo-t from a vendor who offers some warranty on the attys or learn how to replace the wicks yourself . It really seems that the problem with some of the attys is wick issues (quality control, and it looks like these wicks are done by hand so no two are absolutely identical)

3) I'm about 6 or 7 weeks or so in to eGo-t use. I'm still using the first two attys (I bought spares but haven't had to use them yet). I've blown them out from the battery side between almost every tank. I gave one a hot water bath and blow out the other day to clear out a persistent flavor. That's it. That's all I've had to do.

I love my ego t. and have had no problems with any of the ego t atty's (up to 4 of them now) or tanks. I love not having to fiddle with juice all day. Always make sure your tanks are all the way in. I just clean them with denture cleaner and rinse with water when they get gunked up (all I vape are sweet, sticky flavors that love to gunk up an atty). I found that alcohol sometimes peels the paint off and who wants an atty with chippy paint. The atty I use most often is my first one and its over a month old now. I only switch it out when I clean it. I just bought the regular ego from liberty-flights; its $40.00 with the 20% off coupon on top left of the webpage and a couple of the ego t atty's. It was still cheaper then most places charge for the ego t kit and you get 2 510 atty's to keep as spares but it only has the 650 mah batteries. They both came with warranty. The ego pt works with ego t stuff but I don't think the 1000 mah fit in the ego pcc. I think they are too long to fit it. I believe that you want to keep your juice at around 70pg/30vg for it to wick best. It's thin enough to wick right but thick enough not to flood. I hope this helps you. I am very happy with my ego t and would recomend it highly. :)
