Apologies first if this question has been answered. Still a bit confused. Before I start asking, let me state the following:

Tried,
  1. Ego-T system (owned by Gf)
    1. tank System
    2. Relatively good batt life.
    3. Good amount of vapour
    4. Stingy on 'taste'
    5. Not much refilling between vapes
  2. V2 (Mine)
    1. Cartomiser
    2. Poor Batt life (max 1 hr of constant vaping)
    3. Good amount of vapour
    4. Generous on 'taste'
    5. Constant refilling
Would like to get a new VV system soon. Am still thinking whether to get the Cartomiser system or tank system for Ego VV? and how good is Clearomiser other than u can see the amount left?

Dripping provide the 'cleanest' flavor. Downside is damn ley chey unless u got self feeding drip system.

Tank provide a tradeoff for flavor eliminating dripping.

Traditional polyfill cartos ranks lowest imo as it has neither flavor or TH.

For clearos if u're talking abt the CE series u gotta take care when refilling as they have a tendency to leak and the clear plastic oso deteriorate and crack over time. Also their wick is on top so wicking is slower than the other type. Vape too fast and get chao tar taste.

Personally I prefer the tanks.

i love my ce2 cuz its in a tank mod lol. so effectively, its a tank. if u wanna use a clearo on a eGo, rmb to use the cone oso as it provides some protection on the weaker joint at the lower part of the clearo. i prefer tank mods as well as it is the least hassle on refilling while u're out and polyfill kinda mutes the taste as what karl has mentioned.

Ego-T or Ego vv is great for starters. Good battery life for most people with 650mah minimum. And you can attach anything with a 510 connection on it. Don't get the ego atties tho, the bigger size reduces the taste like what you've mentioned. The good old 510-T atties will work better.

For ego batteries, better to get the clone ones imo. Cheaper and starts off at 4.0-4.2v versus the original one (janty/joyetech) regulated 3.4v at full charge. Good idea to get a Ego vv, more leeway for you to play around.

What matter most is the thing you choose to attach to your battery. Try out some if you can to find the one you like most. For me, CE2s are the best in taste which is very close to dripping. But not all CE2s are made equal. Those older versions are junk and will probably give you lots of problems like leaking, tube crack, burnt taste, bad quality control.. etc. I use Vision Extremes from Gotvapes exclusively because they got zero leak, crack issues and no burnt taste at 1.5ml/2.5ml even with thicker juices. I also got the 'improved' CE3s called Micromizer X7 but haven't thoroughly tested them yet.

Some of us here swear by LR atties, some swear by CE2s, some swear by dual coils and some swear by just plainly dripping. Tank (Read: type a, b, BDVs, Liquinators, arrys) is just a container for your E-juice. Whatever it is, just go find your own preference first. I personally hate recommending to ppl, as some would actually blame you for your recommendations. (Read: "Why recommend me such lousy stuff? I vape and vape but all I taste is 'chow-ta' smell(CE2s nv wick properly due to not enough research and friend only know how to recommend, but dunno how to point out the important points.) ! ) :D

Over here, most of the ppl actually tried the lot, and would help you point out the important points. Try to do some research on what you want to use as well. It helps alot!!

ohms = resistance level = heat = vaporizing effectiveness.
say u use a 3.7v mod,
a 1.5ohm atty/carto/clearo watever = (scale of 4 high to 1 low)
1.5 ohm warm vape 4 th 4 vapor.
2 ohm slightly warm vape 3 th 3 vapor
2.5ohm slightly cool vape 2 th 2 vapor
3ohm cool vape 1 th 1 vapor.

this is a rough guide. not actual result. of cuz actual result differs greatly from this but is just a rough ref for u to understand.

for 3ohm, we usually do at least 4.6 n abv for shiokness. haha

Actually I'm one of those who advocate measurement by watts instead of ohms.

Personal experience 7 to 9 watts is the best vaping experience for me. Anything more than 9watts will OD too fast.

But in actual fact it's difficult to get the hit I'm looking for using 3.7V PVs so I ended up building my own 5V mods.

Madvapes knowledgebase is a good place to start info gathering.
