Heya,

I wonder if someone here can help out with a weird situation I am having.

I have a Provari and I am using a 3.0ohm XL Boge carto inside a tank on it. I've been using this set up for the past few days happily. This afternoon though I had the carto attached to the battery, as is usual and I hear it start making the soft hissing noise it does when I check the atomizer on the Provari.

I just had the unit on my desk, and hadn't used it in about 10min or so. It didn't start crackling, just the soft hissing and there were no light or errors on my Provari.

It's done this 3 times now and I am a little nervous about it. Even when I disconnect the carto from the battery it keeps hissing for a few more seconds before stopping.

Should I just throw it away or is there another problem?

I've been using tanks for a while now and this is a first for me lol.

i had a carto that did that on my kgo. i tried another carto and it was just fine. i think the carto got faulty somehow, throw it away before you ruin your battery :)

Well it's not just the one carto - I did throw that one away and put on a 2.5ohm dual coil carto - same problem, though less frequent and to be sure I put in a new battery.

It's happening less often now, actually hasn't happened in the last hour, so maybe it leaked or something.
