cartomizer help!

I pre punched the hole in my carto and I keep getting this loud popping noise (not the crackling of what a carto should sound like) and it keeps spitting juice out, any suggestions??

how deep did you punch the hole? it sounds like the punch could have damaged the internals of the cartomizer

Thats what I was thinking i might have done, it was the first punch i have ever done and I do feel like it might have been too deep/big of a punch

U can youtube it maybe. It's in the tank now, right? You just put one carto underneath the bad one and push up.

ya that is very easy to do when you havent punched before. What kind of device are you using for punching? you want to only turn about a 1/4 turn after it "pops" through the outside wall on most punchers..

I feel like I didn't hear a pop when I did it, thats why I kept going and then realized it couldn't need this many turns

Just j/k before. Keep the bad one then and practice on that one so's you don't waste too many cartos.

I bought a pack of the punched ones and then used them to gauge the hole size and placement.

In Richmond?? theres a vapors lounge in southside that might carry a small selection of 501 cartos at inflated rpices but there isnt anything much locally.

I use boge 2 ohm cartos. I am familiar with the crackling noise they make, but its actually popping and juice is spitting out
