Cartomizer length

Simple question. When using the Boge 510 cartomizers, are they long enough to still use the Cone that comes with the ego kit?

Just wondering it would be cool if they did, but from pictures of both I am unable to tell.

Yes - they work just fine.

I have an Ego and am currently using Boge cartos - there's even enough projecting beyond the cone to put the 'condom' back on.

Yes they work, but I personally prefer to add a drip-tip to keep my lips off of the cone. Plus, the drip tips are easier to remove when you want to freshen up the juice. Cherryvape pawn driptips are my favorite.

i second technos post. i didnt have a driptip for the first month but once i got it, ah...so easy to pop off and fill the carto and feels much better 'tween the lips.

especially if you would get the LR cartos it tends to get fairly hot at times...a drip tip would eliminate the burning feeling.

I never use the cone with a carto. I think you get a better vape without it.

The XL Carto's work just fine with eGo/Riva cone.

I agree with this sometimes. My Trex has great air flow & draw with the cone on, but sometimes on the Ego I feel like the draw is harder, so I remove the cone. I've heard some people say that removing the covering/sticker cover on the cartomizer makes a teeny bit of room between the cone & the carto to improve draw. I haven't tried it myself though.

And just FYI for anyone who owns Riva 510, a Riva 901 cone will fit and it is shorter and has a slightly larger opening and fits over Boge cartos leaving plenty of carto sticking out.
