Background: I have been vaping extremely lightly for about a half a year. I started by picking up a mistic starter kit from wally world. I never really gave it a real shot. I wasn't big on the flavor and the carto seemed to dry out quick to me. Sick of continually trying to quit with patches or just cold turkey I searched out a source for the mistic refills about a month ago. I got a refill pack and another starter kit. When they burned out it was time to go whole hog. I had been trolling here a bit and figured out how to open the "disposable" cartos. The next logical step was to get some liquid to refill. Spent a few days trying to source locally. No luck. So I gave up and found an online supplier in the supplier section who's name I liked more than anything. I ended up buying a vision spinner in addition to my DIY master mixer kit. I have been putting it through its paces for about a week. The refilled mistic cartos and bats are my backup. I finally registered today. Hopefully this makes my defining post to let me post in the other forums so I figured I might as well make it good.

The mistic: Great bats, keep a charge can make it half a day of heavy vaping. The cartomizers (cartos), not so great as they come. Some people really like the flavor but I was mostly indifferent. They also seemed to get that burny taste if I vaped them too fast, and or too much. Yet it seems all the things I read about them the bats last longer than most Cigarette clone PVs. The down side I see to them currently is the odd threading although I have just been clued into 808 to 510 adapters that I am told work with them from someone else using them. This is an auto model (i.e. they turn on when you drag on it.) As for the carts once refilled I have had narry a problem I have been refilling two carts for about 3 days now. One RY4 and the other pomegranate that later turned into chocolate pomegranate. I'm still waiting for one to clog enough for cleaning or burn out entirely. On a side note one of my early experiments of adding water drops to a cart neither killed the carto nor were totally unsuccessful. Mater of fact the first round of water drops pretty much renewed the carto to like new just busted out of the package flavor and Throat Hit (TH). Refilling the carts I have discovered that my juice tends to be too think for them which I easily remedied with brita water which I have no finally gotten around to getting some distilled which makes me feel I won't burn the carto out as fast. Also picked up some grain alcohol today to do cleaning when it comes time.

The Vision spinner: Beats the snot out of the mistic for battery life. No surprise. The 1300MAH better beat out those little mistic bats. I really like the variable voltage (VV) as a noob jumping into the "real"* personal vaporizers (PV) it allowed me to play with the voltage and find the sweet spot for the juice I a mixing. I am using the vision clearomizers (clearos) that came with my spinner starter kit. I had a few hits with a bridged atomizer that demised due to something that belongs in the stupid mistakes thread. This setup gives a heavier hit than the mistic setup did and it seems i can dial my TH in using the VV. Although If i go too high voltage I do sometimes get a burney taste. I cant say for certian but I think the atomizer gave better flavor than the clearomizer. I am really interested in delving into "bonuts" for that very reason (search stainless steel doughnuts). Which brings me to my one dow2nfall of the clearo; i find the mistic gives far more flavor than the clearo no mater what voltage I set at.

This brings me to my question for you all with more experience: Is it typical for cartos to be more flavorfull than clearos?
Personal note to the question I noticed today that dragging on a batless cart I got a good bit of flavor, where as with a clearo I get some but not as much as the carto.

Glossary** of things that were hard for me to pick up:
Clearomizer: clear tank around the post that that caries the wires to the atomizer that has wicks threaded through it into the tank.
Atomizer: Just an atomizer in the bottom of a tube with a bit of wicking in it. (think drip puff puff puff drip puff puff puff)
Bridged: from what I gather a bar arcs above the atomizer and protects it from shorting on the wicking material.
Cartomizer:atomizer with polly fill or other batting to retain liquid and extend the amount of times between drips or refills.
Cart/tank setup: Just saw this one a bit excited about it... a tank with a carto in the middle and a few strategic holes in the carto.

* when I say real I mean I felt the mistics were a throw away, which they havve proved far better.. Some would call these MODs but I think MODs would refer to something I buy and then fiddle with on the workbench for a while. I don't mean to offend anyone who is set on these style PVs
** please feel free to correct any glossary errors and set me straight. I'm just trying to be helpful to other noobs.
