cartomizer not working on elegant

I got an elegant easy and I really enjoy the long battery life but when the battery needs recharging I use the same cartomizer on an automatic 808. After I put that same caromizer back on the elegant, it won't work but still works on the regular 808. This has happened with 2 cartomizers, how could this happen?

Nobody else has a connection problem? I can't keep wasting cartomizers like this.

Vapi, try gently "lifting" the center (male) attachment on the carto with either a tiny eyeglass screwdriver or paper clip. It's probably a connection problem caused by the carto getting "screwed down" too far when you put it on the other kr808.

and... IT WORKS! Thanx Eleanor, another person told me to try this earlier today too and I forgot about it because I got my buzz in the mail and you know how that goes.. So I just just tried it and I almost put the cartomizer on the buzz first.
