Hi everyone, I was just curious, if I prime a cartomizer and leave it out for a day or 2 will it still be good to use in a tank? I just wanted to have one for backup just in case.
Just so you know, this is a 2 hole prepunched cartomizer and will be used in an IBTANKED tank.
If you have any of the plastic caps or condoms around, you know, that some cartomizers are shipped with, you could put one of those on both ends of the cartomizer to keep the juice from drying out and unwanted things getting into the carto. An alternative thing to do would be put it in one of the "Thingy" bottles from IBTanked.
No. I've not tested this to be certain. But if a cartomizer is kept in an enclosed container, there should not be any chance for the e-liquid to evaporate to any degree that you would notice.
Many people steep their newly arrived juices with the bottle caps off for the first couple of days intentionally. I think most do this to allow any alcohol base used in the juice mix to evaporate, but this doesn't appear to affect the nicotine or the rest of the juice mix in an adverse way.

I have a question relevant to this topic: the top of the stuffing on my low res carto tends to dry out after a day or so...you can definitely taste it. i moisten it up every once in a while with a couple drops of juice. Is this advisable?
Cartos work best and last longest when they're kept full. Check them regularly and add liquid until the top of the filler glistens. If the carto is low enough to have a change in taste, it will generally take about 10 drops or so to refill it.
