I'm vaping Boge 2 ohm cartomizers on my Grand. It's wonderful, but I notice after about a day the flavor just disappears mid bottle. The vapor production is fine, but the flavor and throat hit just flatline mid bottle. After I change the cartomizer it seems to get better.
I keep reading that people get 3-4 days or longer on a cartomizer, but I'm just not getting it. I have to switch them out after 2 days- tops. I'm a week off analogs.
I vaped for about 3 months in the Fall- and then found 2 cartons I had stashed before I found my vaping sweet spot. I've been back on vaping for about 6 weeks total, and there's almost no chance I'll go back to analogs.
I understand the technical aspects of vaping fairly well- but I know that most people on this forum have a lot more experience than I do.
The other thing I guess I should mention is that I vape an odd blend- about 90-95% VG and between 5-10% sorbitol at about 24 mg. I use the sorbitol because it doesn't dehydrate me as much as 100% VG, and I'm convinced of it's safety for vaping. Consistency wise it's a little thinner than VG, but chemically it pretty much serves the same purpose. It's just less likely to pull moisture from your body when it can't get enough from the air, and produces a slightly juicier/wetter vape than just VG. I really can't handle large amounts of PG at all.
My two theories are just flavor dropoff, or that the glycerin/sorbitol is absorbing moisture from the air and making the flavor weak.
I'm not freaking out- I can handle $2 a day for vaping (happily)- I'm just wondering if it's all in my head, or if it's a real thing.
