This question might sound silly, but I need to clarify the terminology of a 4081 cartomizer. Are blank cartomizers the same as empty cartomizers? I want to order a supply however, I keep seeing "blank" or "empty" and I want to make sure I am getting the right thing. When I get them, I just want to add e-liquid and vape away. Not sure if they are the same or if one or the other involves doing something extra. Also does anyone have any suggestions as to a good 4081 cart supplier?

I've ordered blanks and I've ordered empties. Same - same. 
I have a mild thought that the folk who call them "blank" have some familiarity with ammunition, but I could be wrong.

Smokestik is a 4081 but they don't sell blank and are expensive. Their cartos are built differently than others. I have tried them, but the draw is a bit tight or something for me...
Not really sure where to get good blanks as that is a popular 2 piece model and many sites only sell filled...like SS. I started out with the Safe Cig (4081) and own the SS Hendu (4081) so I am very familiar with the model..
Not sure how much you know about all this so wanted to point out that you can refill a carto that you have drawn dry...
The condom method is easiest to fill 4081 carto's IMO.

Here is a site that sells a lot of 4081 stuff including blank and pre-filled carto's. I have never used them however... It is AZsmokefree.

azsmokefree and good prophets both sell empty soft cap 4081's, the GP ones seem to be a bit better quality. The Smokestik's are probably even better but like the Doc said no empties and they're like $4 a piece.

I just learned this method by watching a Youtube video yesterday. This method is super easy and a lot less messy.
Yeah it is simple. The cartos that Squid mentioned (soft cap) you just pull the cap off and put drops in so no need to use the condom method. But most pre-filled 4081 cartos are not like that and the condom method is by far the easiest way for those.

Not sure of your current or ex smoking habit - so wanted to point this out. If you smoke(d) more than 1 pack a day a 4081 isn't powerful enough, in my view. Liberty Flights has the EGO on sale for $40 right now.

DocWyatt, yes I smoked a pack a day up until a little over a week ago. I do feel that I need to upgrade from the RN4081. I am puffing way to hard and my lips and cheek areas are working hard. They are going to call me muscle lips if I keep this up. LOL I plan on upgrading soon.

I use 4081's exclusively. I tried the condom method and found it VERY messy. I use a syringe for filling and don't even have to pop the cap off the back to fill them. Just make sure you angle the needle towards the side so you don't damage the atomizer in the center. And you get a lot better hits off a 4081 if you keep it filled by topping it off frequently.
Where do you get your carto's from? I have some from GP and SS and the GP are good and the SS are AMAZING but I am looking for somewhere that doesn't charge 4-5$ a carto but that has decent ones. Thanks for any ifo you can give
