Hello all. This is my first post on this forum. I have been vaping for 3 years now. I have ,believe it or not ,used the DSE-901 model the entire time. I am now tired of the low resist atomizers wearing out so quickly and being so spotty on how long they last (same with batteries) but at the same time want that good throat hit so I recently purchased a Prodigy v3.1 . I want to get some Cartomizers for this new beast but not sure which cartomizers are compatible with the BE112/801 adapter I am using. I think madvapes.com sells the correct cartomizers but I am just not sure which ones are the correct ones. Any info on this at all would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you thank you. ;)

What threading does your prodigy have? If it has 510 threading then you use 510 cartomizers and they are not compatible with other threading unless you use an adapter. Boge 2 ohm are most popular for 510 threading. See LiteCigUSA.net and elsewhere.

Re your 901 - LR stuff can damage slim batteries. Slim batteries should use stuff 2.5 to 3 ohms and not lower.

If you are looking for 801 threaded cartos then check Madvapes and Ikenvape and elsewhere

If you are looking for 901 threaded cartos then I don't know. I saw some once. 901 expects cartos to have a hole in their side to let air in and I saw some somewhere one time but it is not easy to find 901 cartos. KR808D-1 cartos will fit 901 but if they don't get enough airflow then you need a 901 to 808 adapter.

Hello Sofakings, I am in almost the same position as you. Difference is I am 3 year 901 user but 2+ year using the Prodigies V1-V3. With all of them I use 901's. The HV 901 pop WAY to quick on the Prodigies. I switched to LR 901's from Vapor-kings and have had pretty good luck 2weeks-2months. I Drip 100% and I am now looking at switching to 510'a (via thread adapter) so I can get tanks. Totally sux trying to drip and drive at the same time. I suspect if you recently purchased the Prodigy you got a 510 threading. And I am also considering getting a LavaTube or Provari. Lavatube will be an easier sell with the wife. Anyway if you want the flavor and vapor of the 901 on a Prodigy I recommend the LR 901 from Vapor-kings and only use 3.7v batteries.

First of all, thanks for all the input, secondly I chose the BE112/801 adapter style for my prodigy which hasnt arrived in mail yet. I chose it because my friend said he started with 510 and he didnt like it. I think he said it popped too quick or something I honestly dont remember. Did I make a mistake choosing BE112/801 adapter for prodigy v3.1?

short answer is yes. The 801 Carto will fit your Prodigy.. I'll fear you will not be statusfied with the 801 after years of 901 usage. You may want to buy afew thread adapters for your prodigy and test both 901 and 510 on the prodigy. Don't buy the prodigy adapters just the thread adapter they sell for about 6 bucks vs. 29 for the prodigy end caps. After you have tested the 801, 510 and 901 make our choice.
