Can someone tell me what the difference is between 510 and 808? The ones I would like to replace has a recessed battery connection or the threaded end. And when I order them do I need to look for a specific resistance. These came with a starter kit and I knew nothing at the time I ordered it. Their website offers filled cartomizers but no empty ones. I didn't realize how easy it would be to burn them up if they got dry and ruined most of them. I have a better setup now but think these would still come in handy. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

Threading.

If you have, say, an 808 battery and you want to run 510 cartos on it, you'll need an 808 to 510 adapter. (some places will say "808 battery to 510 atty" They will work on a cartomizer)

Recessed battery connection, between these two types is the 808.
808 have "innies" 510 have "outies" (on the threaded end of the carto)

Just be careful though, as some 808 lookalikes aren't made to work with regular 808's. Some companies do that so you can only use their stuff...

True...very true.
Do you happen to know what brand your equipment is or remember where you got it? Then we could help better.

The male cartomizers are 510, and the female are 808. You can somtimes buy adapters so you may interchange them on certain batteries.

Or 801, or 901, or ???. So be careful with that or you might end up with a bunch of cartos that don't fit anything you have.
There is also 808-D1 and 808-D2, so just being 808 doesn't necessarily mean it will fit.
