Hey, I recently bought a bloog maxxfusion batt set and many pre-filled carts as they were outta blanks..now I really like these cartomizers, I obviously dont have much experience in the vaping department as this is only day 3 off the Newports but bloog's blank cartomizers seem to sell out ridiculously fast and I was wondering if anyone knew of a site that had blank cartomizers the same as bloogs? Is it true that NHaler's are the same? If so which NHaler cartomizer would you recommend for a bloog batt?(kr808 I believe)

The reason i'm seeking these specific cartomizers is it seems they have gotten an overwhelmingly good forum-wide review on vapor output/refill ability and they seem to be a fairly up-to date cartomizer technology. Any other recommendations are definitely welcome though!

I am refilling the ones I have but I dont really have any pre-filled flavors I can put any of the more fruity/exotic flavors in..right now im just dripping my Nuport juice into a mint cart to try and get the nuport flavor to take over :) I figured blank carts are probably my best bet for getting the freshest flavors out of the other ones i bought though.

You would be better off just refilling the prefills you have. The blanks have issues that are being worked on. Some of them work and some of them don't - it's hit or miss. They don't play well at all with any mixture of VG higher than 30%. The Bloog juice is 100% PG. I haven't tried Nhaler's so I can't speak for them but the owner Drew did confirm that they are the same.

Hmm, well maybe i'll order some NHaler blanks and compare - if they are the same it'll save me a couple bucks as NHaler seems to be a bit cheaper :)

Another option you might want to try (at least until you get your blanks in) is taking your used-up prefilled cartomizers and boiling them. Pop the mouthpiece end off and soak them and the silicone "donuts" that are inside in a glass of hot water. Let those soak. Drop the cartos into a pan and add water, gently boil for about 15 minutes, rinse, and let them dry out for a day or two. Then fill them up with the juice of your choice.

I did do this with 8 of my pre-filled cartos (got 8 bottles of juice) but I was impatient and did not wait a day, with 4 of them i waited probably 2~ hours while periodically blowing out water of them and the other 4 probably 3 hours doing the same then hairdrying them at the end..they dont seem to taste as nice as the pre-filleds and some simply arent hitting as well - should I re-boil them and let them sit and see what happens?

It's worth a shot; you're really not losing much of anything by giving it a try (except juice, which is dirt cheap). Almost all of the tutorials I've seen recommend doing it twice. I've had really good luck with one boil, but then again I don't vape mint. That's a pretty strong flavor to fight, so it may well take two.

As far as being impatient goes, well, patience is a virtue that takes too long. I've read about--but not actually done--using the oven to dry them out. Put it on its lowest setting, around 200 degrees, put the boiled carts on a baking sheet, battery-side-down, and bake for about an hour and a half to two hours. I don't clean cartos often, but I think I'll run a small batch this week to give it a try. I'll let you know how it works out, if you haven't tried it by then.

Also, if they're not hitting all that great, you may want to check to see if the coil in the atomizer needs to be realigned. Just push it back perpendicular with a paper clip--it's that tube that goes straight down the center of the carto.

Hmm, maybe i'll check the alignment on a couple once I get out of class..the cinful mint had a VERY strong flavor in the carto but very little vapor output which suprised me cause I think it has 30% more VG then my other pre-filled cartos/liquid..they all just genuinly seemed harsher though, just almost like a taste thats obvious it shouldnt be there which im assuming is from the lack of drying on the filler. I've started dripping my NuPort ejuice into one of my pre-filled mints to simply try and override the pre-filled flavor by doing constant refills and I can notice a definite difference in harshness/taste compared to the nuport filled carto that had been boiled and only dried for a couple hours.

I'm rather new at this too, have the same kr808 and have both blank and pre filled cartomizers. Sunday was my first time experimenting with cleaning the carto's so I can "freshly" refill with other flavors. First I boiled water but then looked at that water and thought, that's really hot and I won't be able to stick my hands in it for a long while, so I ditched that idea. I got my large glass measuring cup, ran tap water on hot, filled it half up and put all my empty carto's in it with mouth piece off. Those went in a separate little bowl with warm water in it. I let the carto's sit for about five minutes, took each one out one by one and "blew" through the mouth piece end and water sprayed out the battery end. Resoaked and repeated three times. Put them all on a cookie sheet and put in the oven on 150 degree's for about an hour. Cleaned house, went to walmat, yada, yada...pulled them out of oven and they were not overly hot to grab off cookie tray and off I went to back office to refill carto's!

Didn't have a problem wih any of them so far. Between me and hubby, we have gone through nine carto's in two days of the one 's I cleaned this way and they ALL work really well and new flavors taste great! I've read a hundred different ways to clean the carto's,even using booze..hahaha..but I just stuck to the basic simplest way, with the least amount of time. Don't know if it will work for everyone, it was my first time but it seems to have worked out great!

Hope that helps.

Hmm, maybe i'll re-boil these carto's and try drying them on a cookie sheet then..i would really only lose the 1ml~ of juice i put in each and currently I dont really even see them as smokeable, some of them really dont even put out next to any vapor.

MAP tank or GotVapes.com Fluxomizers are the way to go.

yeah I was going to say that too. I was delving into the cleaning of them last night and was digging around found a couple threads....one is a marathon essentially lots of people discovered that polyfill was actually burning (as in igniting) after about 25puffs....which means you are inhaling that burning filler fume with your vapor.

look for CE2 cartos (no filler or glue I believe Im not a carto person was just trying them out) or CE2 Fluxomizer / clearomizer (which is a very cool transparent tank and atomizer in one) There is an 808 clearomizer for sale in the trade thread

Thumbs-up on the oven method. I tried it last night and it worked out great. I did about 190 degrees for 30 minutes, and used a muffin tin to keep them all upright rather than a cookie sheet.

Some of the cartos may be bad. One thing you may want to do is drip 5 drops of juice into a cleaned carto's battery end and give it a quick vape. If it's good, fill away. If it tastes burned or after 5 draws you don't get any vapor, toss it. Then you don't waste juice or time.

Vapor 4 Life has a good price, buy a 5 back then refill em. Ive got very good vapor production, though Ive been using the Vapor 4 Life battery as well.
