Hey guys, I’m really likening cartomizers (on my 510) but I’m getting crummy vapor after only about a day-or-so of use. I top them off throughout the day and for a while vapor production is really good. I just have a few questions for the experts:

1) If you’re a heavy vapor and you’re getting a week out of a cartomizer what brand are you using?

2) I would like to use colored cartomizers to carry a few flavors with me. There are so many places offering “not so good” colored 510 cartos anyone having good luck with the colored ones? If so what brand?

3) Lastly because I’m only getting a day or two out of them I would like to buy bulk can anyone suggest a place with good value in bulk?

Thanks a bunch guys and gals!

I like the Vapor4Life brand. I use their blank "cool carts" silver. I fill them myself of course as that is the best flavor and most vapor. Their batteries are pretty inexpensive so you might want to buy a couple of those and their cool carts, some juice, and vape away. I own many different PV mods and i'm back full circle to the v4l battery and cart... loving it

Keep in mind that the Vapor 4 Life is a KR808 design. The OP is using a 510. They are not compatible without an adapter.

I hear lots of great reviews of the KR808 cartomizers and will pick up a starter set eventually but for right now I'm really heavly invested in the 510 platform and want to get a bit of millage out of it.

Ya once you pick up a couple bateries to run the cartomizers that don't fit your main brand, then you have to pick up a charger and a passthrough and more carts and a pcc.

Kind of counter-productive to fixing what you have. And trust me I love my V4L equipment.

I have heard that on 510s you need to prime the atty directly a couple of times a day with 3 drops. Can't hurt to try eh? Even when your cart have juice you could be drying out the atty by vaping faster than the wicking action can perform.

The silver thread cartomizers are better than the gold threaded ones...
I have some Boge Cartomizers that I'm enjoying currently, but I supose there are other brands with silver threads? Is there a spicific brand or vendor your reccomending? Health Cabin has some hard tip cartomizers with silver threads; I couldn’t locate any reviews of them in this site.

And if you aren't getting much vapor something isn't working right.
Agreed, any suggestions as to what? For the first day they work well. They are kept toped off. The batteries are changed regularly so that’s not the problem. I cycle through lots of juices mostly 80/20 (PG/VG). I’m told I’m a "heavy vapor" whatever that means.

i buy the ones directly from janty, that have been great so far but i did notice that if i vape too hard it cant wick fast enough, when that starts happening i drop a couple drops in the atty, this is my first foray into anything other than v4l, i love v4l and the kr808 but it was getting too expensive im a heavy vaper and i would run through 5 cartos a day, im hoping this will be a little cheaper in the long run, but im sure ill use 808's still they are just good and easy.

I wouldn't imagine this happening in only one day but I guess it depends on how many times you refill a given cart...

For the kr808s that I use, after about 5 refills the packing is no longer able to wick juice effectively and or atty needs cleaning.

An atty is useful for as long as it physically works, keeping it clean will extend it's life. The filler material will eventually lose it's ability to wick juice.

Flip KR8 and 510 in your post and it applies to me! One day I'll give the 510 a go just to see what all the fuss is.

I use the kr8 but am waiting on some 510 adapters (kr8 batter to 510 atty) so I can drip with the 510 atty. <$3 for the adapter from MadVapes and you can try it cheaper than you think.

I like Eastmall cartos. I have the hard tip 510 and next order will be the soft tip. The hard tip are a pain to refill because you have to use the condom fill method or try to drip into the battery end (pita).
Eastmall has them for .80 a piece if you buy 25. Shipping is flat rate 17.00 now , so it isnt worth it just to by 25 cartos. They have a lot of other stuff there though. You could get an adapter and some 808 cartos to try while you are shopping there.
