I have been playing around with different setups to find what i liked.
So far i have used ego tanks, stardust, vivinova and smoketech 3.5 mm tank with cartomizer.

I have found vivi nova to work great but randomly it tastes supper burned.

So far i think the cartomizer tank combo is the best in consistency.

Now I have a myGo vv on the way so i am ready to move up to a larger tank. Now one thing I cant decide on is to go with a Smoktech DCt tank with locking plate as the rubber caps on mine scare me as they can slip off in a pocket easily.

Or go with the Boge cartos setup, not sure on what tank to go for this as the boge cartos dont have a flange.

So what is you best suggestion for a tank to sue cartos with a mod that will be secure and which cartos to settle on flanged smoktechs or the boges?

A locking carto tank is the safest solution if you pocket carry all day long. Usually, my APV + tank is in my jeans pocket only for quick walks from point A to point B. The tank from IBTanked is plenty secure for that. Next to a locking carto a flanged carto (Smoktech) works well if topped with a wide bottomed drip tip that prevents slippage of the tank from that end.

For maximum comfort in pocket carrying I still like just a plain, untanked carto. I carry a small 15ml drip bottle along to top up.

What do you guys do to make sure the tank does not slip of the cart.

As I constantly carry mine in my pocket.

I've used tanks with silicone grommets and metal caps. In my experience, the caps look nicer and are easier to work with. The grommets are more secure -- that sucker isn't moving while in my pocket. The down side to grommets is that they can be too tight if you want to move the tank for any reason and they can retain the scent of strong e-liquids. While I generally prefer metal caps, I do use polypropylene tanks with silicone grommets if I know that I'm going to get really, really drunk. :)
