Cartomizer tastes like filler, whatd I do wrong?

Had a horrible experience with carts when I first started vaping..switched to atomizers and never looked back.

Well I got a free, clear, 2ohm cartomizer from AvidVaper..so Im assuming its the Dual coils.

Anyway, did the syringe method with Bounty Hunter...a 30%vg juice...it feels thicker than that though. I just went down to up with the syringe along the walls, until there was no more white filler showing along the walls/sides.

waited 10 minutes and yuck. tried in the ranges with my provari at 3.7v to 5v. yuck. tried again another 10 min after..same thing.

whatd i do wrong? didnt wait long enough? over filled? pretty discouraged cus i cant get carts to like me..and wanted this to work so i can use these in public.

All cartos with polyfill have some amount of that airy flavor. I only really notice it now when switching from an atty straight to a carto. That aspect of the flavor subsides as you use it and you're left just tasting the juice - about 10 minutes or so for me.

so just to clarify...i just gotta vape this nasty thing for 10 minutes and itll eventually go away?

to be honest i dont know....i just went gently up a side, rotated to get the opposite side..then i just filled the white walls in between till there was no more white. you think i might have under or overfilled?

na just regular size. hm ya i think i will...im trying not to inhale but i still taste it. /puke

so i think i overfilled jus now..had to blow it out as it was leaky...still nasty taste....i duno if i can attempt to vape this without inhaling for 10 minutes..

For either a new cart or carto, always flood your atty. Don't be silly and vape off the juice that's on it when it comes out of the box. Flood your attie and you won't notice the taste of the shipping juice. Don't clean an attie. Just blow out the juice with your mouth. Absolutely never let the attie dry out.

I found the thermometer shake method to be great at filling cartos..keeps my cartos good and saturated..

Maybe you just got a bad carto.. mine are always wonderful right after filling! Hope you fixed your problem
